Not sure what category to use (or even if Lit is the best site)

I'm pretty far in on a story (it will be multiple chapters in a series) set in GamblinLuck's Slave Camp universe. The problem I am having is that it is not really an erotic story, but more of a psychological examination of slaves and their owners. While it definitively deals with mature themes, it is not really meant to be a titillating story. I'm kinda stuck on if I should post it in the Non-Erotic category, as I'm not sure it would get many views, or even if Lit is the right site for it. I really want to post it here as all of the stories in this universe, I've found, are posted on Lit. I would also like to direct as many people over to GamblinLuck's stories. They were the inspiration for my series anyway.

So I guess my real question is, do non-erotic stories (which still deal with issues such as slavery, non-consent, etc.) do well on this site, or should I just look elsewhere to publish?

Had to look up the author you're talking about, because I was unfamiliar. That story is all in Non-Con. If there's non-con sex in it, whether you consider it erotic or not, then Non Erotic isn't the place for it.

Stories don't have to have graphic sexual content to do well on this site. I have a dozen stories here with nothing but implied sex between characters (and sometimes not even that), even in non-consent scenes. The best example that I can provided is my story about human trafficking:

It is either SF and Fantasy, or NC. Sounds interesting. At least one other author writes in @Gamblnluck ’s world too, @CurrentParameter.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I’ve read CurrentParamrter’s works as well. I like his take on the universe as well. I guess my concern is the comments I see when their chapters don’t give a lot of sex, but are listed under one of the categories.

Unfortunately, the narrator in my story is underaged for a large number of the early chapters. It’s needed to explain where he’s coming from for later chapters.

I think you should put in NC just because you are dealing with slavery. You won't get many reads at all in Non erotic.
I have some underage kids in my stories. I don't allow them to be involved in sexual acts though.

There are sites based on fandoms. I'm not going to use Lit's space to name or recommend them, though I do have stories posted at at least one of them.
