Not Good Enough

What everyone else said. Sometimes it feels like everything I touch turns to drek. And then it passes.

I get down on myself like this a lot. . .
Would it help if I went down on you instead?

My ex just called. I thought he had been in town without a single call to me. He actually left a message on my cell phone that I hadn't heard. . .
A-ha! (only said for emphasis.)

As I suspected, it's not you, but the way you feel other people perceive you. This is what I do all the time. I get down on myself when I feel other people are disappointed in me.

Hölle ist die Leute.

It's a horrible place to be. I'm trying to find the cure all to pull me out of this place I go to, from time to time.

~sits down next to Lavender, puts arm around you~

Awww ...there, there little soldier...I think that you're very special... even though I wanted to kill you once...

I'm having one of those days where you really feel you're not good enough for anyone or anything.

I get down on myself like this a lot. It's not really fun to deal with.

Do you have days like this? Do you get down on yourself to such a degree?

I had one of those days on Thursday. I talked with a friend and she was able to give me some perspective.

One of my other cures is to read a book guaranteed to make me cry. I always feel better after i cry.

Sometimes it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Sometimes I wonder if it's even there at all.

The light? Or the tunnel? Chances are we're questioning the wrong "reality".

The reliable solution is to find someone less fortunate than yourself & do something kind or useful for them. You'll feel a lot bettter about yourself.

Lavender- I bet a couple of phone calls would find you an old folks home or hospital, or hospice, or shelter for homeless, or for battered women, etc., -with a piano. People that would be impressed with you just dusting the rust off of your skills, & grateful anyone gave them a second thought.

I bet if you try that next time you're down, you'll put yourself in perspective.

I think everyone from time to time has those feelings.. Just focus on the positive things about you and your life. :rose:

Usually everyday, but I have gotten used to it so I don't notice it as much anymore.
