I have something that might be considered a little unusual.
I'm writing a non-fiction story about ladies in the "sex worker" trades. These are, as you may assume, exotic dancers, adult film workers, exotic masseuses, cam girls, and so on...
Now, I know that this isn't exactly the stuff Lit deals with, but maybe I can find some stories to tell. I already have an interview with a cam girl, and I wanted to see if I could find others willing to tell me a little about themselves. As I agreed with my cam girl Mia, all names will be altered if they wish.
What I'm trying to say in my piece leans toward how they got started, if they feel exploited, if they enjoy their work, and if the internet made it easier or safer to do their work. Plus, many folks out there might wonder what their regular lives are like.
I do require that their interviews be truthful; I could make up stories on my own, but it's more interesting to hear it from the real deal. Some things would have to be verified (if they have a website, I would want to check it, movies made, etc...), but NONE will be exposed to the public unless it's ok with the interviewee.
If there are any interested parties, please let me know. I sincerely appreciate it.
