What Not To Do Wednesday by the APD
" Some people’s stories are so full of holes that they could give a colander a run for its money.
Hotel security was contacted by one of its guests who had found a man inside of his car in the parking lot. Security took Car-Invader Man into custody and kept him in their office until we arrived. CIM had cell phones and credit cards on his person that did not belong to him. Some of the items belonged to the guest who owned the car, some belonged to others.
When we got there, we asked CIM what he was doing. He stated that due to it raining outside, he simply wanted a dry place to smoke his pot. His solution was to try the door handles of vehicles in the hotel’s parking lot until he found one that was left unlocked for his use. In exchange for making a stranger’s car reek like a skunk, CIM said he was going to leave some of his dope behind for the car owner to use.
OH – you mean you were paying it forward? And the things in your pockets that don’t belong to you accidentally fell in while you were simply sitting there getting high? Why didn’t you just say so! That makes total sense.
