The mountain bearberry bushes make a nice splash of red color. Don't sit down there or you'll have black and blue berry stains on your butt. Don't bother to pick the berries as they taste like "blah". I've never been to Banff.

Btw, those berries can be found around the northern hemisphere in cold regions.

1. Go before you get old. You'll miss so much if you're not in good physical condition.
2. Figure out how long you want for your trip and double it. You won't be bored.
