Anywho, I read an article that argued China should start enforcing bans of imports of luxury items across their border in to DPRK.

Imagine, the ruling elite suffering with no caviar, cognac, or Mercs?

Apparently they closed the border into the shared industrial zone to ensure none of that decadent western hard currency made it into the socialist utopia. They couldn't have anyone using it to buy quality products after all.

I used to live on Guam...and that is one of their proposed targets...it's not a very big island, so I know they are probably in turmoil about this nutcase. The funny thing is that Dennis Rodman just came back from North Korea...and said what a teddybear Jong-un was...and that he had no desire to make war...that it all had to do with the NK military top brass...so that's a conflicting message...then again, it's Dennis Rodman.

I think Un said a state of war exists. Techcinally, it has existed since 1950, since no peace treaty was ever signed, but I think he means now.

The Korean War ended with an armistice, which is technically a ceasefire, not a peace declaration. Either side can repudiate it, and the North Koreans have done so on a number of occasions. None of which resulted in a recommencement of actual hostilities.
