So I'm curious...

How long have you lived in Austin? It seems as though there are alot of people from Austin on this board. Quite intriquing if you ask me.

So, what parts of the community if any are you involved in? Just me being nosey... lol

Just for a visit, I am moving up there at the end of the year though if all goes well, which I know it will.

I've lived here 13 years, Dustygrl. I'm involved with the parts of the community that come in my house. I even avoid the people I work with, half the time.

By association through my husband and family, I know a bunch o'folks in the classical scene, but I avoid them like the plague!

Did I mention that whole anti-social streak? *grin*

And you're not being nosey! I don't mind in the least. =)

Very cool, I've only lived here a few months, but I've lived in Texas most of my life. I grew up in Big Spring and Midland lol.

That's cool, I guess I am really not involved in any of the communities around here lol.

But you never know another lit member if you see them on the street if you know what I mean. I found out shortly before I moved to Austin that I had been talking to my upstairs neighbor online for months lol.

I admit that when I meet someone who's from where family lives I tend to make sure right off the bat I ain't flirting with my evil step-cousins, ya know? *shudders* That would be beyond revolting. Way beyond.

I'm meeting Purdde Flower Sunday for lunch, probably in Round Rock (she's in RR, I'm in P'ville). Would you like to join us? You too, W&W if you can schlep yer butt all the way to the Eastside.

Actually...now that I'm using my noggin, I'm thinking somewhere in the Arbor.

Yes, we had a good laugh, but it was sorta embarassing too because of my living situation. My ex beat on me alot and he had called the cops several times.

That'd be great! I'm in Cedar Park, so Round Rock is only about a 10 minute drive from me. But in the Arbor would be even closer lol. There's an icehouse up here in CP, I don't know if it's any good though. But with a name like Bubba's it has to be right? I would love to join you

KestralWolfe, BlackWolfe and Mikey live in P'ville.. You'll have to meet up with them sometime.
