What is Literotica's support for extended characters? Some stories seem to use them with impunity, while some show the gibberish of non-escaped characters. I don't mind not using smart quotes or curly apotrophes but I am a fan of mdashes and some of the characters with diacritics. Are these supported? If not, can they be escaped with HTML codes in a Word submission?

I don't know the answer, but using more than the basic set of characters can produce unexpected results anywhere on the internet.

If you submit as copy and paste, you should see exactly what MOST readers will get.

I use the em dash a lot, which Literotica text picks up without trouble, and it renders the diacritic in café at least, so it must manage at least some diacritics. This is not so with the titling in the lists, though. Those seem to hiccup on diacritics.
