Life is good.

In fact, life is very good!

It sure does feel that way...maybe it's because finals are almost here and fall break is coming up...four days with NO CLASSES...then new classes start...I'm excited, I get to take African American lit next term....then Thanksgiving break!!!

Only when I think about hospital bills and money do things feel sucky. I keep looking for a job but the town is so small and I don't have a car....

Today, a costumer was so rude to me that I actually considered adding a few extra, super-expensive deals to her account - and DOUBLE her bill!

Why is it that people loose all sense of dignity and politness when talking to Costumer Service?

Because they think that if you work behind the desk in something so "terrible" as customer service, that they have the right to treat you like shit. They're sitting right up there on their high horse. Sometimes it takes an armload of patience and hard stares to knock em down.

I've noticed that I have A LOT more patience and kindness in me than I ever thought I had.
But with this one, I couldn't fake it. I was polite and kept a nice tone of voice, but she could tell that I was being short with her. I'm sure she understood that if it hadn't been for my boss telling me to just delete the bills and close the account without any fuss, just to get rid of the bitch, that I would have insisted on her paying every last coin of it - and I think it's good that she knows that! Everyone knows bosses are too lenient.

And please - why don't people READ the information they're given? Why do people sign contracts without reading through them first, just because the man offering you the contact also gives you a muffin?

If a foreign nation ever found out how STUPID Swedes really are, we'd be ockupied in a second!
