Thing is it was said about someone that I love dearly and it was not meant in a bad way at all. It came out as catty and just not me.

I love that person with all my heart. She has no idea and I can't even been to apologize for what I said because it wouldn't be understood.

So, if I said to you...look, Lucky, I was talking to someone and you were mention and I said something that was meant to be funny about you, but that person didn't laugh about it and then when I realized what I said it sounded catty, jealous and just not right...would you think it was ok if I came to you and told you exactly what happened?

I think they should be glad to hear what you really meant and that you didn't have malicious intent with your off-handed comment. If they don't understand then there's not much more you can do. I don't know you to be the type of person to say ugly things about someone behind their back to begin with, let alone to make yourself look better.

I'd start with the person you said it to and just be honest. If they're not satisfied, offer to tell the person you were speaking of and that should prove your sincerity.

Heh, I never said the bike had to be moving. Kickstands will hold under a good amount of Rockin' and Rollin'. But a trip to Texas should be on everyone's list of things to do. You'd be the first of my Lit buddies, but I think I've got Lou & Shocky headed out soon.
