Um...that's that subtitles are for.

I don't speak a word German. I saw 'Der Krieger und die Kaiserin' the other week. If it hadn't been the real actors talking, I would had missed half the performance.

Oh .. ok ... but the answer is kind of the same. We are just too lazy and dont wanna read either ... Well they started dubbing decades ago, and now everyone expects it. We should have gone with subtiteling (although I hate subtitles), than we would speak a better english.

We don't subtitle either (for the same laziness factor) and we don't even bother with dubbing. We just re-do the movie, usually watering down the plot in the process.
