Gotta read this thread more often.

I'm so glad there's no serious problem Lou.

I had to find out the lessons you cited the hard way myself.

Does anyone else get emotionally involved with a scene they are writing that might be sad, or happy or whatever...........or is it just me?

Well, I do throw myself into my characters...

I am my main characters...not literally...but you know what I mean..so, Yeah.

I have a story in mind..and it's sad. I told a friend of mine, and he said it made him sad and made him cry. I think that is good.

I don't know. I have been unable to write the story today. But I see it. Almost like a movie playing out in my mind. Everything is there, the scenery, the people...

We have these threads where it is asked what is your favorite story. How can you choose a favorite when you are in every story? When what you feel is set out there in black and white for thousands of people to see?

All I can say is that if you feel it it's only because it is a part of you. Don't you love that in some sick, demented way>??

Precisely.
I'm writing a very sad scene right now and while I was working it out in my head I started to cry.

Then if it worked for you, imagine how it will affect your readers?!?

I think that is wonderful, Sam. God, I just love when I am soo into a story I can taste it, feel it, live it!!!

I suck as a writer, tho. No, I just think that my vocabulary isn't as broad as most people out there...Damn Catholic School upbringing!

I can't wait to read what you wrote! I am getting chills just thinking of how it has affected you!!! I mean, don't you feel wonderful?

I just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me.....it takes a lot to effect me so if I can write it and it evokes emotions in me, I've done a good thing.

you don't suck, you lack confidence is all.

This is actually from a novel I'm working on...but even in my one and only story I have here, I put myself inside the characters head and became her in my mind to see what she felt and then figured how to explain it to others.

I love the feeling, it's validation from years of self depreciation.

Yeah, I suck...but that's ok...

I read your story and I loved it!

Sam, it takes a lot for us to just write what we write. It's so hard to write erotic shit and make it work! All the people out there who criticize us and tell us what we are doing wrong! My favorite feedback is bad feedback. Do you know why? It's because it TOUCHED them. If they call me a fucking slut, I think, hey you don't know me, but my character sure made you think....and feel.... *then I pat myself on the back.

It's ok to get fully emersed in your character. Unless it's a cereal killer...next thing we'll be hearing is that the Leprechan is missing...(ROFLMAO - sorry, I do find myself funny!!!)

But seriously, you have a heart. My stories are basically about what has happened to me, what I want to happen to me, what I fantasize about happening to me....

If I didn't have an imagination, I wouldn't be writing.

Mm.
I was in tears when I wrote the last chapter of the series, had to keep walking away from the keyboard. But it'll be a while untill I post it.

I think you're brilliant.

but your jokes suck. :D

Thank you for the comment on my story. It's hard to come off writing something like that and go to the grocery store...LOL.

I don't fantasize, I create them for my characters.
and I'll ignore the heart comment......I've got a reputation as a dead person to consider. :rose:

Let's just say, she doesn't date the people she meets at work.

Honey, if your jokes suck, then mine are worse.

Do not envy me,
Do not covet,
You unhappy person with troubled life.
Release yourself from obsession.

I love me, I think you know that
Do you love you?
You can, if
If you release yourself.

I feel for you,
I really do.
Just stop wasting your energy.
Channel it where it's needed: into you.

I am me, you are you.
Accept it.
Move on.
Take care and find peace.

Shagadellic?

Where in the hell am I going to find shag carpeting for the teenager's room?

Fun stuff.

I love it when things rise from the dead.

Zomberiphic!

Good luck with the shag pile, Luckster. :D

I promised to never let this thread die completely. (That's not to say it doesn't slip into hibernation for long period of time, but I'm keeping my word.)
;)
It's gonna be crazy. She wants the stairs wrapped in Shag and we'll no doubt have the walls painted every single shade of Rock Star.

I think I'm most excited that come Christmas we'll probably be ready to adopt a puppy.
:D
How's Billy? He got any brothers or sisters?

WHOOP! To all of that.

You're a star, you know that?

You can never have enough Rock Star in yer life, that's what I say. Sometimes. ;)

Stairs wrapped in Shag, huh? That's happened at my place once or twice. :p

As for the pup: WOOHOO! Go for it. I lurve puppies; started up a dog/puppy training business with my Dad, actually! I've done all the puppy courses, so I'm "Head Puppy Trainer". :D Any particular breed in mind?

Sadly, Billy's lost contact with his siblings, and can't have any off-spring of his own (his evil Mummy made sure he had "the op". :( ). Shame, cos he would have made a lovely Daddy. Made doubley sure he knows who's leader of the pack, though. ;)

Well, we're giving the girls absolute free roam to decorate their new rooms however they want...and praying they don't decide on all black or neon shades. ;) Should be a hoot to see what they come up with.

I've never had a dog, but the home we're trying to buy is on almost 2 acres (No idea what the British equivalent of an acre is...sorry.) Anyway, this property is just screaming for a pooch, and I'm pumped. We're not overly picky about the breed, but if we get to choose, we're fond of Boxers.

I may have to bug you for training ideas sometime. I had no idea you were a trainer. Super cool!

I laughed so fucking hard when I read this... It was truly embarrassing. Hard to explain away too, as my brother and sister wanted to know what it was I was laughing at.

:D

Thanks, slag.
