I spent all day yesterday jumping up and down on chairs, crawling on all four on the floor, dragging an electric sandblaster with me, scraping the wallpapers, to prepare for the big re-wallpapering. I was half dead when I finally finished - not from exhaustion, but from near suffocation - can you IMAGINE how much dust there was???

I sweeped up a whole bag full fo dust, vacuumed the floor for an hour, washed it with soap and water, wiped off the furniture with a wet cloth, EVEN THOUGH they had been covered with fabrics!
I had put the computer out in the hallway and closed the door, to make sure it wouldn't get drowned in dust - the harddrive's tired enough as it is - but this morning, I found dust inside a closed cupboard in the hallway.

Get it? The dust went THROUGH the closed door, out in the hallway, to the cupboard, THROUGH another closed door, and settled ont he shelves int he cupboard!!!
The computer's acting a little weird. It might be dust inside, even though I didn't see any on the outside.:(

The floor's still sticky - I'm gonna have to wash it again. Same with the kitchen - the dust migrated in there, too.
Now, the guy who's gonna come over and put the wallpapers up, might not be able to make it until next week. Until then, all the furniture in my livingroom are standing in a huddle in the middle of the room, in order to make it easier to reach the walls, who have large scrape marks on them. There's an echoe in the room. Nice acoustic effect from the stero.

If anyone walked in here right now, they'd think I was a squatter.

Golly, Svenska, I'm in awe.

I thought about doing the dishes today, but decided that it was too much trouble.

Why is sitting on a hard chair in a sports field all day so bloody knackering?

Five hours I was there, FIVE HOURS!!!! Watching the egg and spoon race and such like. Now I have a headache and just want to sleep. Perhaps I'm not used to so much fresh air.

Good day, though, and the girls did good. :)

Liked the jpeg. Wasn't there when I visited - maybe I got there on the wrong week:D

Tatalou: If you'd been Abs, you could have sat on my face

Huh?

And, um, no, even if I had been Abs, it really wouldn't have been the time or the place.

- Guess that's true. My 'whoopie' cushion would have been no help there either, Lou:)

I dunno, I think the kids would've laughed. :D

"Sister Christian"

LOL hilariously. Night Ranger? Wistful? LOL isn't this older, like more seventies? It was on the Boogie Nights Soundtrack, and that's a disco era film, isn't it? LOL
