I can see your point! All that bright gold wouldn't color-coordinate well with mimimalist aesthetics of bone or burnt-black. Plus, you can't even stick your fingers through its eyes. :/

That too was a minus.

However, I've seen it more attractively done in shades of iron and steel.

Did you get the iron-steel one? Also, how many skulls do you have in your collection, assuming that is what you collect?

I collect globes. I've never counted them, but my best guess is over 50. I especially like the "utility globes"--globes that do something else besides being a globe.

I also used to collect bears on seesaws (there aren't as many of these as there are globes).

Aw, thanks for saying! I'm surprised you can use some of these as wallpaper. I reduce their size intentionally so they don't make the thread pages super-wide (just pretty damn wide).
