That is a fact. Folks- if you have a partner who is attacking you and you have to call 911 or the Police or whatever, *don't* tell then it's your boyfriend, husband, wife, lover, or whatever. Just say, "There's a man/woman in my house, doing or threatening to..." If they ask if you know the person, lie or say you can't see there face clearly or something. Especially if you think your life is in danger. (This probably won't work if you keep taking back an abusive partner and the cops recognize your number on their caller id.)
