No rough sex / BDSM allowed in fan fiction on Literotica?

So, one of my BDSM story submissions to Literotica just got rejected. It was a Simpsons fan fiction piece where the kinky bondage sex scene was clearly consensual and 18+. The only "violent" thing was ass-smacking with a yardstick, and the characters both enjoyed it and joked about it in my usual style. The editor's cut-and-paste response said "we don't allow rough sex/bdsm/non-consent/dubious consent in fan fiction." (That's a rather strange policy, because many popular TV shows, movies and comic books have rough / kinky / non-consensual / dubiously consensual scenes. Did Laurel and Manu never watch Game of Thrones?!)
Has anyone else had a fanfic story rejected here for that unfair reason?

couple of things - first - from everything that is said in the forums there aren't editors there is one. Laurel - there is some indication that she may use some kind of software to assist her in vetting stories, but from what I can tell - she is it.
If your submission violates the site rules - and not allowing rough sex/nc in fan fiction is a rule - there's absolutely no point in riling against it. You wont win. Post stories here that fit within the Lit rules and those that don't, post elsewhere. Appealing to Logic, like saying popular tv shows/movies have these themes won't gain you any ground - the message here is 'them's the rules'
I have tried tilting at windmills, it doesnt get you anwhere.
If you can't, or won't change your story to fit lit rules, then dont post it here. I have stories posted elsewhere that Lit wont post - including a part of a series, where the rest is posted here.

This is their site and their rules on this. They’ve given you the explanation. They draw a line at rape stories, which is different than BDSM consensual non-consent play.

Rape ≠ rough sex
Rape ≠ consensual

If you are sure that the scene was “clearly consensual,” you could reach out to Laurel for guidance. She tends to be slow to respond and you may or may not hear back, but it could be worth a try. I would also suggest reading the story closely to be sure that the scene is definitely clearly consensual. The correlation to shows like Game of Thrones isn’t relevant.

ETA: After reading the above comment and rereading the opening post, I didn’t realize the rule with fan fiction and rough sex. Sounds like there isn’t any reason to appeal the denial unless you’re open to rewriting.

Lauren being the only editor for thousands of submissions explains a lot of the problems here. I'd love to help her out by being a volunteer editor.

I have several stories out here. Machine vetting or otherwise, believe that Lit. is tough even on punctuation and formatting and so forth. I have had my stories sent back at least several times each for the above mentioned reasons. Ultimately, it makes for a better site. I have stories on some sites where there is little to no vetting. There are great stories on them, but diluted with absolute dreck. Those sites are judged by the worst stories. Here on Lit., if your story does well, that says something. It is a story among good stories. If my story gets attention, that's pretty good. Be grateful they check. It's their site. Follow their rules. Or go to a site that just displays your file, and the files of a zillion other people with access to computers. Well, there are other very good story sites out there that do take care to put out quality product, but heck, they're going to have rules, too.
