No response from Literotica

I have written two stories and submitted them and they are in the pending folder and have been there for quite a few days.

One of the stories was an edit of one I had submitted originally. That one they kicked back to me fairly fast and said what corrections I needed to make, which I did. I then resubmitted.

After that I submitted a completely new story and both show up in pending and again, have been in pending folder for at least 3-4 days.

Any help out there?
Sometimes a little patience helps. I have been as fast as two days and as slow as 5. I had one kicked back and then edited it and sent it back and it was up in about a day. I fully expect 2-3 days. I wish I could remember for my first one - I think it took a while. My Sasha goes to Uni series chapters do go up very quickly now that I am up to 20.

I'm working on the final part of the Annie Rocks! trilogy in hopes of submitting tomorrow or Thursday. It's going in Romance (the category isn't as busy as some others) so I'm hoping it will publish on Sunday or Monday.

I just had COVID - the fourth time,

Em, hope you're feeling better. My mom has it right now, too, but seems to be doing well. That should be a "Care" emoji instead of "sad" but that one's not included.

I just had COVID - the fourth time, and the second worst (the first time I had it was before the vaccines were available, second and third were just like bad colds, but this time was bad). It’s going around.
I told you to stop kissing strange girls. 😷

Oh, that’s rough for you. I hope you’ll get better soon. I had COVID myself back in 2020, during the first wave. I was sick for ten months, and after that I needed six months of physical therapy to learn how to walk again. So I really hope it won’t be that severe for you. Having it four times already is tough enough on its own. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

26 days for mine, today, and I'm not new to publishing stories here, though I never before had to wait more than 2 days or so. messaged Laurel about 4 days ago, but I'm told she reads them but never responds. Not planning to do anything more than keep waiting.
I'm in the same boat. I know this is a labour of love for most of us, but even so, it's hard to know how to cope with the radio silence when you've worked so goddamn hard on a piece of writing and it just sits there. :(

The Halloween competition is currently on-going, so I believe that stories taking part are getting priority. That makes sense, since it's a limited time event.

If your stories are not Halloween stories, you may need to have patience for an extra day or two...

Pulled mine and resubmitted, published two days later. This is not guaranteed to work, however. Results are mixed, based on posts in the forums.

I had 4 stories that sat for well over 2 weeks (one over 4 weeks) with no progress. I decided to pull all 4, make some minor changes - things that on a reread seemed awkward - and resubmitted all 4.

One of them (Sci-Fi/Fantasy) was published the next day. However, now it's 2 weeks later and the other 3 (2 Group Sex and another Sci-Fi/Fantasy) are still sitting there pending, and now they have a new friend (another Group Sex) but that one is just a couple days old so I'm definitely not complaining about it.

Guessing there's nothing I can do .. they'll be published when they're ready .. but I'm just confused about the 1-day turnaround on that one story.

Resubmitting isn’t magic. You could get caught again. Try deleting an resubmitting. Glad at least one got published.

I only resubmitted the others because I saw some changes I could make. Right now I'm very happy with all 4 stories I have submitted ☹️

You don’t need to make changes. You can just pull them back to drafts and resubmit (with or without prior deletion).
That's exactly what I did, but now the show the later date, which is what I expected.

I knew when I did it I was resetting the clock .. but I was also hoping that if they had gotten bogged down somehow maybe I this would "unbog" them.

My latest (on Sunday) took a little over 72 hours in pending and was published on the 4th day. That was a little longer than normal for me, too, though I chalked it up as being in a very busy category (about 20 stories that day). Sometimes there's a big backlog.
Four days seems to be the new two days for authors on the white list.

Sorry to hear that. Almost everybody I know has had COVID at one point or another (except me), and some of them have had multiple and recent recurrences.

I wouldn't be surprised if something like that is going on with Manu and Laurel and they're just underwater right now trying to keep the stories flowing. We don't know if they won't say, but it's not unlike them to keep their cards close to the vest.

I tried that already. No luck.
