No more complaints

So why has the Trump-appointed District Court Judge with zero previous experience as a judge quashed Trump's trial although it was widely anticipated a slam-dunk?

More lawfare from the left. A 1000 complaints in a week against Judge Cannon. A concerted effort by the "New Confederacy" to cancel Trump's due process rights just like their ancestors who ran the first Confederacy tried to conspire against the 14th Amendment and the due process rights it afforded to black Americans in the 19th and 20th Centuries. Lawfare in those days was called Jim Crow.

It seems as if the 11th circuit has had enough.

Bad news for the whining and crying Lefties.
As HisArpy has repeatedly shown us, members of the bar are especially prickly when it comes to criticism from "outsiders", i.e. common folk not in the club. They have their own notions of what is right and proper and bristle that people don't understand the nuances of the American court system.

Virtually all of America realizes that Federal judge Aileen Cannon is out of her depth here in this case, even members of the bar are shaking their head publicly at the "rookie mistakes" she has purportedly made. This must be especially stressful for Judge Cannon, so she plods along now seemingly scared of her own shadow.

This does not mean she's not politically partisan. She has her "eye on the prize" long term: If Trump ascends to the White House again, she knows she's on the short list to replace Sotomaior.

Some of the wording in these articles and postings are interesting. The theme of "pro-Trump" is up front and repeated ad nauseam in those written by the 'woke' and even creep into those articles written by conservatives.

Having read many of the filings, and most importantly those that are contributing to the complaints, Cannon is NOT pro-Trump as much as she is NOT allowing the prosecution to shortcut the law or the rules of the court which, of course, has the prosecution and their supporters throwing a hissy fit.

The National Lawyers Guild isn't "the bar."

It's obvious she isn't pro-Communist either. Hence Jack Smith's dismay.

An interesting aspect is that the trial judge is required by law to give full deference to the accused. So far Cannon has done so but that's what's outraging the Left, she's obeying and following the law rather than slanting it against the accused.

Apparently the Left doesn't like it when they can't abuse the system. As the linked article shows along with the replies in this thread from the usual suspects.

She is 100% pro trump, are you crazy?

Like true Democrats, they hate due process of law for their opponents.

If you think the Totalitarianists are squealing now, wait until the SCOTUS rulings start dropping. I am for real going to pick up some popcorn so I can just sit back and watch.

It has been obvious that the "Documents" case which is subject to Cannon is the most serious that Trump faces with the clearest evidence against him. If Trump wins the election it will never proceed. If he loses it will still take a very very long time.

Cannon, like Merchan in New York is Hispanic, and like him was born in Colombia, no prizes for guessing Trumps favourite Colombian. A comparison of their Wiki Bios is interesting. She has been more involved politically than him

Another interesting prospect- Merchan is the judge for Steve Bannon's trial in September

The left DEMANDS that the system not be abused and go out of our way to hamstring ourselves so no rational argument can be made that we have cheated. Cannon is obviously working for Trump and despite that no serious attacks have been made against the judge which should have been done from day one.
