The invasion was repulsed but the war was, overall, a standoff when the two sides realized they had no good reason to be fighting. I agree with you....ummm....however, the U.S. invaded...and Canada is still Canada. Your textbokks see this as a draw....ours (righly....), see this as a win for us. I believe someone down there said that taking Canada would be "merely a matter of marching"......wrong!

I'm new here, and not a flame war kinda guy, honest! So this will be my last post on the topic......but.....you guys invaded us, we didn't invade you.....and luckily for us, we repelled you. This result gives us today, perhaps only one major benefit....that we don't have to listen to a succession of pop stars strangling the life out of "Oh! Canada".....

Pick any picture you want to be an AV, then resize it to no bigger than 150 x 150. You can get and use irfanview for free and it works well to manipulate pics. OR, post your pic here and some horny guy or gal will gladly resize it for you.
