Okay folks, I'm probably going to piss some of you off - not my intention, but I am realistic enough to know it will happen. Just trying to spark discussion.

Just because a picture has nipples present, does that make it appropriate for this thread? For example, one recent picture is of a woman sitting with her legs opened and a vibrator poised to enter her wide open, hairy pussy. Oh, and you can see her nipples.

What is the primary focus or theme of that picture? Certainly not her nipples. I would imagine that most people opening that picture are drawn instinctively to the high-contrast area of her pussy and the vibrator. Once there, you look at other areas of interest, but you've already been "exposed" to the primary focus of the shot.

Do you think that the majority of folks who peruse the "nipples" thread enjoy a picture like that? Is that erotic or porn, or is there a difference? Are there other places to post such material that might be more suited to the primary theme of the picture?

The beauty of Literotica is that there is a forum for ALL sexual subjects. I think that is great! My issue is when there is a thread on a specific theme or topic - in this case nipples - and that theme or topic appears to become meaningless. Why bother with a theme or thread on nipples, for example, if your going to use it to bring in other themes or threads like "hairy pussies?" Wouldn't you want to put such material in a "hairy pussies" thread?

Don't get me wrong - I have nothing against hairy pussies. I am just not looking for them in the nipples thread.

As the person who posted the pic you mention, I am responding. Since Jennifer M., who started the thread, has not objected, I will continue posting similar pics. My posts will always include nipples and some of them will be nothing but breasts topped with nipples but I will also post pics of people enjoying themselves sexually. I suppose they would be called porn, but some might also call them erotic.

We have 200 pages on this thread, meaning over 5,000 posts and it has been going on for over 18 months. Until you came along and, with your seventh post on the site, complained, nobody had objected to pornographic pics. I don't know where the first pic was posted but it was probably on the first page.

I don't believe there is a thread anywhere like this one, at least not any more. There are the amateur pictures but that is a different kind of thing entirely. I'm quite sure there is no "hairy pussy" thread.

I think what Nondescript pointed out is a valid point and it raises the issue that Boxlicker and I had a dozen pages ago--what we prefer and where our tastes lie. I take no issue that someone has continued this discussion whether they have seven posts or seven hundred posts.

I agree, I am all for nipple shots on a nipple thread. I am pretty specific about what type of shots I like and I have voiced this on several occasions. I expect that is what this thread is actually for, discussing what our preferences are. That is took this great turn to include photos of nipples is just an added bonus.

It is pretty clear that those of us that have high traffic in posting pics have pretty specfific tastes and the pics we choose reflect this. If you are a frequent visitor to this thread, you know what our tastes are. Just don't open the pics if you know it will not suit your tastes.

What I do take issue with--and have mentioned before--is a reposting of pics that have just been posted within the last few pages. Angelique, please stop reposting the same pics that have just been posted. Some nice fresh nipples would be much more in favor.

I am all for nipple shots also and everything I have ever posted here included nipples. Some of them were men and some may have been of TS's but they all included nipples. Admittedly, sometimes the nipples weren't the central focus of the pic but they were always there.

I have probably posted about as much as anybody and I have no particular preference, except for sexy naked women.

I do object to the repeated posting of the same pic. As I mentioned a while ago, there was one pic that was posted about six times on one page.
