nipple piercing and nipple play

I am hoping someone here has some experience with nipple piercings. I am thinking about getting mine pierced but I really love nipple clamps and all sorts of nipple 'fun'. Are the two compatible? Perhaps this is a silly question, but will piercings limit the amount of things one can do with out tissue damage like tearing and the like? Please let me know if you have any experiences to share i would really welcome the imput!

I've had mine for almost two years, and yes, I do find that I have a problem with nipple clamps because of the compression. While I do enjoy a bit of pain, it is a bit too intense. I dont mind weights or having them pulled (except around *that time* of the month), tied together, etc. I also found that if I used the clamps where you push up on a ring to tighten them, that I can wear them... sometimes.

I had my slaves nipples pierced a few months back and he says it has increased the sensitivity. He loves it.

I use clover clamps on him and the ones with the screws. I was afraid of causing too much compression too, so we experimented a little. He does not like when I clamp the piercing. He likes when I get that area behind the piercing, close to his chest. He also likes when I pinch his nipples with my fingers and vary the pressure, so he would prefer that over the clamps.

Needless to say, I do both!

I have have mine done twice each and yes you do need to take care. One healed though start carefully and extend what works for you both.
There are lots of good things about having it done like walking near the cool display in a supermarket or walking out into the cold or having it played with. you can get into pain so quick it adds a little frisson of fear (will she/he go fast or slow )

One factor (besides the needle phobia) that's kept me from it is the heal time. You'll have to wait a good 4-12 months before you can do any sort of play, let alone serious play with them.

The clamping I've noticed is pretty person to person, along with most play. I have one friend who got her's done and now can't stand any sort of nipple play, where another likes a lot. Just listen and you're body will tell you good pain or bad pain in most situations.

I had mine done 2 years ago, and had to take them out before even 9 months had passed.

Every month, when I would PMS, they would hurt so bad I couldn't even put a bra on.

I had the barbells, 14 gauge. I did try clamps on them, after about 6 months, and found it way too much. I like pain, but this was a way bad pain!!!

I believe the piercings depend on the person. I know many people who have them pierced and absolutely love it. Depends on the sensitivity of your nipples, I would think.

I know that a lot of Doms like their subs to have the piercings, because it gives them something to hook the chains to, or run the rope through.

I'm sure there are more ideas, I am just brain dead this morning!

Pulling, tieing, tugging, and even weighting are all on the list of posibilities if I ever have mine done. But these things too, it depends on the person and some times the piercing. Not every nipple piercing is the same, I know people with both really bad and really good experiences.

You really won't know until you have them done and test a bit. Like I said, one thing that holds me back is the time it takes to heal before you can test.

I've had mine for almost 7 years now. (M tricked me into it, and now I love them. He's sneaky that way.)

The piercings made my nips even more sensitive (as if they needed help) and I'm frequently orgasmic from nipple play. They're not usually the mind-blowing kinds of O's but they're quite pleasant. Compression-type pressure is acutely uncomfortable right over where the rings pass through, but I do love suction on them, like the suckers from a snakebite kit.

Mine healed in about 7-8 months. We got them gauged up to 8 gauge after 2 years. Unfortunately when I was hospitalized this past June I had to have them out for several days, and the holes shrank. That's a very good general rule, but there are exceptions to almost every rule.

The reason we say "no electricity above the waist" is so there's absolutely no confusion or potential for dangerous/deadly mistakes. If you're not doing it, you can't screw it up, right?

IMO, there's an exception for people who truly know what they're doing and are exceedingly careful. What castagnus describes is safe in the hands of someone like that, since no electricity is passing through the chest or potentially interfering with the electrical current of the heart. If he's giving us an accurate portrayal (I believe he is), he's done this specific type of play above the waist without harming/killing himself or others, so I'd consider this a good example of one of those exceptions to the rule.

The fact that the rule has exceptions certainly doesn't mean I'm going to run out and hook nipples up to an electrical source, just that it can be done safely in very narrow/specific circumstances.

I was reluctant to post those clamps because it always leads to the safety argument. I don't want to hijack this tread, but I suggest those interested take a few minutes to read up on the physiological effects of electricity.
