Nikki Haley seems to be trying to get fewer and fewer votes. She has already lost the MAGA votes and now she is determined to lose the few moderate Republicans still in existence. Can’t bring herself to tell the truth about slavery and now claims embryos are people too.

When she drops out and endorses Trump, her political career will be over.
Her political career is already over, she just hasn't come to terms with it yet. Denial is not just a river in Egypt, or so I've heard.

Both voters and politicians are fickle. I think Haley has set herself up to be the only viable candidate available when/if Trump gets mowed under before the election--which is a possibility she might as well risk as there not being much of a disadvantage not to. If he coasts through the primaries to be the Republican candidate, yes, she'll back him, having already said she will. If he drops out for any reason, there she is, and although people will rub her face in various positions she's taken, she'll still be the candidate and then will say whatever she damn well wants to say under the current conditions then--just like most every other politician does. There's no particular reason for her to throw in the towel until Trump wins so many primaries the RNC declares him. Then she'll say she's endorsing him and sit back until the campaigns for 2028 rev up. I seriously doubt she wants to be his VP mate.

Her political career died when she was sacked while serving as the UN ambassador.

I think she resigned as UN Ambassador. She wasn’t fired by Orange Jesus.

She was sacked. Yes technically she resigned but her tenure in the job was already teetering because Trump wasn't happy with her performance. Her resignation was a surprise and she gave no real reason for it.

Reading between the lines I believe she was given the option of resigning or being fired. Either way she was sacked.

LOL whatever you need to believe in to keep that dream alive.

Trump would have fired her via Twitter and we all would have known it.

I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt and say she resigned because she knew working for a POS like Trump was bad for her long term.

I think Trump would have gotten someone else to fire her on Twitter.

haley speaking out of both sides of her mouth and then some...

On Wednesday, Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley told NBC News that she supported the Alabama ruling, stating, “Embryos, to me, are babies.” But just a few hours later, Haley seemed to walk back her comment on CNN, saying, “I didn’t say that I agreed with the Alabama ruling.” She added, however, that she still believes “an embryo is an unborn baby.”

And on Thursday, Haley again tried to clean up her answer, saying that the court decision may have been right but that there needed to be a new law: “I think that the court was doing it based on the law, and I think Alabama needs to go back and look at the law.”
*shakes head*

“Haley Was a ‘Fantastic’ Member of Trump’s Cabinet. Now She’s His Last 2024 GOP Foe”
Wall Street Journal headline, Saturday, February 24, 2024

“She’s done a fantastic job, and we’ve done a fantastic job together”

“We’re all happy for you in one way, but we hate to lose you.”

Trump, October, 2018 announcing her departure which became effective at the end of that year.

Nimrata Nikki Haley fared unexpectedly strong in Michigan Republican Primary tonight with women, including blue collar women, which Donald Trump had a lock on in both 2016 and 2020. She fared well (as expected) with college educated women. The only female demographic she did not do well with was (of course) hard core Evangelical women.

"Chlamydia is more popular with women in Michigan than Donald Trump right now"

"Trump fatigue" among women appears to be a very real issue in 2024.

WASHINGTON – GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley says she no longer feels bound by the Republican National Committee pledge to endorse former President Donald Trump if he becomes the party’s nominee.

“The RNC is now not the same RNC,” the former South Carolina governor said on NBC's "Meet the Press'' in an interview that aired on Sunday. “I'll make what decision I want to make."
Haley's stance is a shift from an earlier pledge to support the Republican nominee. The RNC required candidates to sign a loyalty pledge to get on the primary debate stage. Trump declined to sign and did not participate in any of the debates.

and you may well be right. i have no faith in her, given she said she'd support trump even if he were convicted
And she said she would pardon him if she were elected. Not that there is any chance of her being elected President

She must have learned the special skill of Chinese Sichuan Opera, in which a performer can have his face changed a dozen times within minutes. She is also like the ostrich that buries her head into the sand or the thief trying to steal the doorbell by covering her own ears. It is very sad that there are still so many people supporting this woman who is obviously unsuitable for even being a normal woman. She is advised to make some wise comments on the recent case of gang rape that took place in her old native land India, where a Spanish female tourist was the victim along with her husband. LOL.

I understand that English isn't your first language, so let me just make a friendly observation that "Laughing Out Loud" isn't the most appropriate reaction to an apparent gang-rape...

Her stance on Trump is apparently evolving. She hinted in a recent interview that she may not feel obligated to support or even vote for Trump if he is the Republican nominee, even though she raised her hand in that pathetic loyalty test in one of the debates.

Yeah. Her signature on that oath she signed with the devil to receive campaign and debate privileges is fading. She crafted her reply cautiously by saying the RNC she dealt with had evolved and was not the one she now sees as running the show. Ergo, it is a different organization; somehow, her oath and signature don't transfer to the new organization.

She could get it over with and say what we all know. She will not vote for or support Trump as this winds down to the final day the Republican candidate is declared. She is a brave sheep leaning into the winds of an oncoming tornado. Like a lot of lambs, she will eventually get picked up in the vortex and swept far away like distant memories forgotten by the herd including those vying for second seat next to Trump - still leaning his way.
