Sometimes, I think that I would like to get married, but then I check myself. If there were ever such a woman as would have me, and who I would love to the point of desiring marriage, then she would surely deserve much better than what I could provide. I suspect that I would join in the Army in order to get shot, for while she would deserve only the best, I would deserve little more than the eternal embrace of the cold earth.
