Remember over the past few years all the bad stories about NFL players as bullies, rapists, and involved in other assorted violent behavior? You don't remember? The NFL does not want you to remember.
The NFL put out a few phony commercials condemning domestic violence and the...poof! Shortly after they are not criminals anymore, they are victims of racial bias. And all the stories of how they bully and victimize people smaller than them went away.
Is it a coincidence, perhaps? I am not once to see a conspiracy around every corner. But I do know the NFL is happy to see their players are now painted as victims rather than predators.
