Newbie questions

Hi, I'm Harp and I just discovered the Literotica Boards. I would like to post pics of myself here, but I don't own a digital camera or a scanner. However, I'm at the point where I'm ready to buy a decent dig camera, and I'd like to hear recommendations from experienced Board members. I don't want to break the bank, but I would like to get a dig camera with an auto-shoot feature, so I can take pictures of myself.

My other question involves avatars. I would like to add one to my profile, but when I go to my account Control Panel, I don't seem to have the option. I'd appreciate any hints.
