Yesterday I received an email in my home personal email address filed with Literotica. It was from Literotica Feedback and could not be answered. There was a message from a guy wanting me to email him, he gave me his yahoo addy. I do not want to give out my personal email address to those I do not know. I could find nothing about this anywhere I looked on Lit. Any suggestions as to what this is? A scam? Or....?
I hope this was the right place to ask this. :I
Thanks,
Willing Laura

If you gave your personal e-mail address, if I remember, you get a welcome from lit. I set up a gmail account so that it would not be in my personal e-mail at home. Other members won't e-mail you unless you give them your e-mail or have it in your profile. I wouldn't respond. Maybe set up an alternative gmail or yahoo e-mail and use that for lit.

New email addresses are free.

Create a new one and let the good email roll.

So, I am assuming nobody has ever seen anything like "Feedback" from Lit with an email in it? Thanks guys. :) I do appreciate your comments.

You should take your thread and shove it up your ass.

It sounds bad to me. I would delete it and do any what you want to on the lit site.

I give my personal email address to anybody that wants it.

For me, it is lucrative.

Luara, if you have a story posted, people can send feedback to you without actually knowing where it is going. It is just a button after each story that enables them to send you their thoughts.

I don't have a story posted yet. I am about to submit one though. Thank you all for the help except the Tony whosits with the glass. Thanks for the idiotic statement.

Just post the email address here.

i would have posted this on the author's hangout, more lit authors hang out there than here.

nonetheless -- lit has a feedback option where readers can send you feedback, either anonymously, or enter their email address in case they would like you to reply. since they don't email you directly from their email accounts and since the lit feedback is sent from the central feedback hub address, the reader's email address is included for you to reply to, should you choose to. it's not a scam, it's how the feedback email works. he does not have your personal email address, but lit does, because you entered it when you signed up, and that is how lit delivers your feedback.

if you wish to preserve the privacy of that address, create a new one. gmail ones are free and fast to create. you can then respond to feedback via that account rather than your personal one.

it is probably safe to respond, but obviously don't give out any personal information.

I disagree with bg. This sounds like a classic Literotica 419 scam.

PM me your name, age, address and a few photos so that I can help you get to the bottom of this.

Don't forget the 500 dollar processing fee that you'll need to pay the department of electronic investigations so you can prosecute the offender.
