After modding/adminning other forums, I see way too many of them. I just ban them... do an IP search on the forum and find all offending alts... send a PM asking if they would prefer to combine accounts - or all accounts will be banned. More "members" bog down a database and cause it to "crash" often. It isn't worth it.

Here they need to get rid of thousands of names. If you have logged on in five years, chances are you're not coming back. I think it looks good when they can say we have 3,874,093,873 members!

Remember - alts can also hide predators. We all need to look out for those, especially on an adult site. Having an alt gives a possibly respected member the ability to be a creep without the repercussions of doing it that under their main identity.

There are lots of features that other forums have that aren't available here. I have forum capabilities with my website and some of them are neat.
