New Years Resolutions

OK, seriously...

I resolve not to let my fear of rejection keep me from trying to become a professional writer...

If I can help in any way, you know where to find me. :rose:

I'll remember. Don't know if I could pay you though....at least, not in coin:devil: .

admittedly just looking to flirt...if I have a more serious inquiry, I will remember...

Flirting's totally fine, too.

In fact, I resolve to flirt more in 2005.

Whoo hoo!

If you need help keeping that one let me know :)

My turn to "Whoo hoo!" That wing-backed chair hasn't been far from my mind since you first mentioned it!

Nopers, But if you cristen it, I'll spring for a name plate :p

My resolutions...

Apart from the usual of exercising more and toning up, etc, etc. From an inner, personal point of view, I resolve to be stronger. I don't mean stronger physically, I mean mentally. I'm gonna quit being such a softy and a walk-over. Maybe. Just a bit, perhaps. But, not much. Afterall, it's who I am. I do like to please others, before myself. ;)

Oh, now there's an image! "Impressive was here!" on a brass plate, with subtext: "... and part of her still is!"

:D

I'm changing mine.

I'm going to sell up and move back to Melbourne.

Roll on 2005 :)

I resolve not to have anymore resolutions.....

But I can come up with some long term goals:

--release my 3rd CD of solo piano music.

_ Write a wickedly good stroke story after the "Mary Poppins" Little Candle Girl.

_become LESS fat

_smile more

_laugh more

_smell the roses more

- frolic in the snow more

_have fun!

The last five of these should be required for all of Lit, even the %$#%$ trolls.

Have a good 2005, everyone!

I resolve to sleep with all my favorite Ah ladies :)

(what the hell, I always fail on these things, might as well shoot for the stars. If I only catch a little stardust I am still ahead of the game)

Can I count as stardust? :rose:

I agree with carson, New Year's Resolutions just suck. So :p on them.....but best of luck to everyone planing them. :)
A special cheer to all the ladies living for themselves and to Bel who will kick ass in the literary world.

I don't do New Year's resolutions.

I will make some silly ones, though, because I LOVE entertaining others.

I resolve to keep my BDSM limit of not being fucked by any carpet swatches. Empire man, bug off! :D

I resolve to not be caught not drinking.

I resolve not to abuse any members of the faculty in any way at all...if there's anybody watching.

I resolve to dream about hot guys getting penetrated by other hot guys.

I resolve to enjoy orgasms, mine and others'.

I vow to crib from better authors any time for cheap laughs.

And I promise to be less and less like a begonia.

Change of resolution

I'm going to change my resolution also if I may?

I'm going to find the perfect woman to have a relationship with. One who knows and wants committment. One who doesn't mind sitting on the pedestal and being spoiled.
She's out there I know. And definetly not a cyber slut. lol
Been there, seen that. I want honesty and love. Not games and fucking around.
Before this year is up I'm going to find that woman. You guys want to place a bet on it? lol

This thread rocks!!

I've always wondered what others resolved(for a better word? pledged?) to do lol.

My daughter (she's 6) wants to move away from the b******ds next door for her new years resolution. lol. I told her it's a wish you make, that you strive to keep to make yourself a better person.

Kids are so cute :)

I resolve to perserve with my writing, and finish my

I resolve to:

- Try to go to sleep each night with a smile on my face
- Keep telling myself that my life is just that. My life. For me to do exactly as I wish with it.
- Not wear my heart on my sleeve, so that anyone can break it.
- Be less selfish and be there for all the people I love, in any way I can.
- Flirt with all the gorgeous wonderful sexy women (and the occasional prince charming), as much and as often as they will allow me.

Now THEY sound MUCH better than 'eat less'...

*reaching for my diary*.

Date? Time? Place?
Would the whole of January, February be ok with you?

I hate new years resolutions, because who am I kidding, I don't stick to them!

But I thought of one thing - putting up a pic of me. I've been here for a year now, and feel sort of ok doing it.

Otherwise, I like Impressive's new years res - financially independent. I would also love to kickstart a small business on the side (open air cinema), and have done all the research for it, but I still want to go back this year and do a part-time management degree at uni and get work to pay for it! :D

But otherwise, I have expectations this is going to be a great year [for all of us]!!

I repeat the same resolution every year.

I have also kept it every year so far.

I resolve to re-consummate our marriage on our anniversary, and to start the new year with the same.

This was made on our wedding night, and has not been broken for 55 years.

Anything else is superfluous.

Good Luck Carson

Carson, I wish you the best with quitting drinking. I know that life change will have grand effects on your life. Yes, even though I don't know you. It's just usually a good idea to pay attention when you notice yourself not taking good care of yourself.

Good Luck!
