New Years Resolutions

Next year's goal is to survive it.

My serious goals for next year are to figure out/get used to my new single life with as little depression and anxiety as possible.

Get moved into a new place.

Figure out what/when I'm going to go back to school.

Ensure I stay close to the goose after we have completed our separation (like a divorce is gonna let you get rid of me )

Oh, and visit NY to see the folks at some point in the not too distant future..

Guess that'l do for now.

New Year's Resolutions....I never ever keep mine.

I used to resolve never to curse again...that would last about 5 mins after making that...

I would never resolve not to drink - how would I get through my days - let alone my nights!

I could never have the stamina to write for 4 hours. So, I won't even resolve to try to do that ~ perhaps write better...but I am working on 2 stories and that ain't happening...so there goes that resolution.

I guess I could say to be more confident in myself, but I just screwed that one up with the last paragraph.

Hmm....I'm with VB...I will not make any resolutions...(although, I bet I break that one as well!!)

I'm gonna drink more.

Which is not saying much, as I don't drink much now. But it's an effect of my only resolution this year; to get out and meet more people. This usually involves tagging along to parties, or tagging along to a bar, both where beverages are served.

I will get to know the people of Lit better and hopefully make some awesome friends.

This year I've decided I'm going to stand up for myself more. My free time will be my own, I may not spend it wisely but it's going to be mine. The rest of the world can just take a number and wait.

Also I'm planning to try to bitch less and enjoy more.

This year is the time to definitely change things. I won't get involved with any slut who lies and cheats. Especially when they admit they're a slut. I deserve better.

I'm going to focus more on my writing and golf. I'm not real good at either but with a focus point I might do alot better.

I'm going to travel more. There are things I want to see and it's time I see them.

Basically, I'm going to take care of myself and forget the games.
I'm going to stand up for myself more and not be used.

I'm going to start enjoying life and have fun. Not sit waiting for someone else who even calls themselves a cyber slut. It's time to open the eyes and have fun.

Earlier in December my resolution was to pay off these three nagging bills I've had for awhile. I got a blessing of some extra money on Christmas Eve and the bills are in the mail.

So, I guess now I need to come up with something challenging. I'm promising myself that I will finish the third part to my 'Feast Of The Rose Garlands' series and actually post it. Hopefully I'll finish it before summer vacation this year. I'm not putting a time limit on this resolution.

I resolve almost every week to keep my house cleaner, but with all these dogs (5) it's a losing battle. I have another vacation day today so I've resolved to spend at least a couple hours of it cleaning.
