Ok....I'm not sure where to start but I'm a long time admirer/reader, first time poster.
I've always considered myself a very open and sexual person but never thought to much into the bdsm lifestyle.
My first exposure was about 8 years ago with the Sleeping Beauty series but I think I was still too young and immature to really get it although it did excite me.
However for the past year I've been almost obsessed with thoughts of it. I know that I am a true submissive at heart and by my thoughts and desires however am in a committed relationship that it is not an avenue, at least not to the extent I want it.
I know this is a place that doesn't judge and is open and I'm not at all looking to change my situation but I am very curious of the lifestyle and would love to discuss it with experienced people.
Thanks for taking your time to read this and I am willing to answer any of your questions too.
Oh and I'm a 31 year old female.

Well what exactly is it that you are curious about? Can't really give answers if we don't know the question.

Well I guess ....how/where do you start? I mean I know what turns me on and what I desire but not sure what to do with it....

I always do this for new people but I strongly suggest you take yourself over to Amazon.com and get two books, "The New Topping Book" and "The New Bottoming Book" and read them both until you've practically memorized them. They're not "how to" books, more in the vein of "why for" books, but they're chock full of important information and insights from people who have been involved in the BDSM lifestyle for longer than I've been alive.

I strongly suggest you do that before you allow ANYONE to tell you ANYTHING about what BDSM should look like for it to be "real". And remember that just because someone says they're a Dom, Top or Master doesn't mean you have to do what they say.

Where you start is, you educate yourself. First and foremost. Books are a wonderful resource because they can give you information without having any hidden agendas, which isn't something you can say for some folks. There are a ton of books out there that can teach you literally ANYTHING you'd like to know about kinks, fetishes and other permutations of the BDSM lifestyle.

A lot of people might suggest you also think about taking a mentor, someone who has had a lot of experience in the activities that you're interested in. You might also think about joining a social networking site for kinky people like fetlife (I'm there under the same name) and of course, literotica's forums, in order to post in the groups/threads and learn more.

What, in your mind, is a True Submissive?

What do true submissives do that's so special?

What's a fake submissive?

These sound like I am ragging on you, but they are seriously serious questions.

I remember when I read the Beauty series. I laughed on every other page, and I was so wet that i slid off my seat, and I cried, too-- because I knew damn well that a life as a sex slave just doesn't actually happen.

So-- what, exactly, do you want?

I am not laughing. And I am still figuring out exactly WHAT a "true" submissive is; I really don't think I am submissive anymore. I was once, perhaps. Those days are long gone though, in my opinion.

I think I just to much like the idea of getting my way, and such anymore.

Power Bottoms Unite!!!!!!!!!!!:D

Clearly a power bottom HottieMama!

I think what I actually need is to own 2 fulltime slaves to cater to my whims and a then to have a Dominant that I visit several times a year since in general men annoy the hell out of me when they live in my house (yes, MY house).
