Hi, vampire, I am fairly new too. I am here for beautiful and hot literature, but also to talk with other intelligent people. I haven't met too many lately and it is getting me down. The discourse here is encouraging though. My housemate greeneyedgirl is addicted because of it. I hope I meet some of the incredible people she has been telling me about. Sometimes we read and write together under her name. I keep getting involved in the discussions through her. So now I am here myself.

Wuthering Heights is one of my favorite books. So incurable, but cynical and disillusioned romantic describe me. Greeneyes and I were on the same page when she wrote her romance is dead thread.

I will remember that. I don't cry much. Rant occasionally, lament, but mostly I laugh. Life must be funny. It is all a matter of perspective. I am only one small short life in the history of the world. Besides I have just discovered the dance community in our town. That always cheers me up. Now, if I could only meet someone to play with until I find my romantic equal......... A girl has needs, you know....

It does. lol But goth people can be very wierd, not that that is a bad thing. I like a good goth. They tend to be fascinatingly theatrical and romantic. It also seems to be part and parcel that they have a finely tuned esthetic sense and be sensualists. Since I am a confirmed hedonist it works out. Besides black looks good on me too.
