It does. lol But goth people can be very wierd, not that that is a bad thing. I like a good goth. They tend to be fascinatingly theatrical and romantic. It also seems to be part and parcel that they have a finely tuned esthetic sense and be sensualists. Since I am a confirmed hedonist it works out. Besides black looks good on me too.

*chuckles* You sound like you're talking from experience. I've met a few gothic people, I like them as friends, couldn't make love with someone that is over-concious of their mortality.....Live life to the fullest, don't dwell on death.

Ummmm......It's not true! I don't know how that cum stain got there!......wait....glowing? RECCOMENATION?

Are we sure we're talking about the same Nathon here?

During high school I was a goth. I like to dance to the music. But then I just like to dance. Now, I am uncategorizable. Death is something to be recognized, after all 3 out of 3 people do die. But life is far too diverting. I agree, goths can be too tragic to date. It is hard to be that melancholy all of the time. I would start bursting out with inappropriate laughter if I tried.

She even said you were a smarty every day. So you study history, huh. Whose? Or all of it, vast subject. By the way my grandparents are Canadians. I can speak bad French too. Greeneyes asks for my help with words all of the time.

Yup....Music is nice. Dancing is fun, I love dancing.

And, yes, being constatly melancholy is silly.

lol!

Majoring in Canadian, American, and Russian History.

3 very vast subjects. Unfortunately I don't know that much about Canadian history as our schools don't seem to teach it. But American I have got down and Russian I studied when I was in my Russian author faze. I needed to know what the context of the novels was. I also visited the USSR in the 80's as part of a music exchange tour.

Cool.

Well, specifically, Canadian History Post- 1867
American History - American Civil War
Russian History - 1941 onwards.

Why those time periods specifically? Are they the most interesting to you in those cultures/countries?

Yup. Canadian post-1867....Very special year in Canadian history.......I leave it up to the reader to find out why.

American History - Civil War - The first MAJOR revolution of a democratic society resulting in civil wars.

Russian History - 1941 to pres - Development of Communism, the Cold war, and the collapse of communist regimes.

I just looked it up. So it is really the start of Canada as a unified country. It was still a colony, but consolidated, right?

Corrrrrect!

*kisses your forehead*

Aaaah.... the forehead kiss, so tender. The student is gratified. Unlike Sting, I won't say, "Don't stand so close to me." Instead I say step closer, the lips are more interesting.....
