New Theme Contest-Title Needed

I like it too, but not all entries are erotic. Unless that becomes a requirement of the contest.

Well, umm, the Web site is named LitERTOTICA. That some of the stories aren't meant to be erotic is more of a reflection of the Web site's tolerance, not its purpose.

Contest entries go in humor/satire and non-erotic as well as the erotic ones. I've even seen non-erotic contest stories in sci-fi. I raised the point so folks can look at this from all angles.

Why belabor the point? Literotica permits the nonerotic. That doesn't mean it has to bend over backwards not to use a word that's inside its Web title and is the main focus of its collection. This is a porn site. This a porn site.

All I'm saying is that if part of the contest name is 'Erotic' then that defines the entries, not all of which have been porn in other contests. I just raised the issue in case people had thoughts about it.

I don't think it's a big deal. With the exception of the "How To" contest, the site shows a great deal of latitude for submissions to the various contests.

They probably let about anything through as long as the story at least drives by the contest theme. So I'm sure non-erotic entries could get in an erotic themed contest even though it wouldn't be in the spirit of it. I really wasn't trying to make a big deal of this, just noted it... Like I said, I like the name too.

You may be confusing the title with the theme. The majority of votes were for a contest for Vacations/Getaways/Travel etc. So while the title may be Erotic Excursions, non-erotic tales of travel, vacations etc. would still fit the theme of the story.

Well, in an earlier search for a contest title, I suggested the Onlyscouriescanwin Contest, but, surprisingly, there didn't seem much interest in that. Not even Scouries bit.
