A Girl's guide to Bush Confidence
Sophia Jane

This story/how-to caught my eyes as it was the first and I thought reading a AH regular would be easier to start. But, after the second line I forgot it was a regular and was engrossed in what I was reading and how informative Sophia Jane made it. She didn't go overboard with her explanations and still managed to find a way to teach a thing or two to women out there.

Thanks so much!

Can You Kiss Me Like This
RedHairedandFriendly

A wonderful how to piece with interesting pieces of stories that I wish she would expound on. I never really thought about how many different ways and kinds of kisses there actually are until I read this how to. Fantastically done. I gave it a five.

Love's Curse
Kitancyrus

A new author who has decided to give us just a tiny hint of what's to come, or atleast I hope so. It's a good start with a fantastic curse. I can't wait to read more.

I got a late start this morning, and am off to read more.

Question for those reviewing: Are you PMing the authors with a note -- or leaving a PC on the story -- which says "Your story was mentioned on the New Story Reviews thread." ???

Regardless, I applaud the thread. Will hop on board when time permits!

Yes--- we leave a PC saying they were mentioned... :)

Bluebeard's Wife Ch. 06
Selenakittyn

I am in full agreement with a personal comment left on the story page that this is one of the hottests Daddy fantasies written. And best of all, was knowing that it was just a fantasy and not an actual daddy/daughter story, but a couple that felt free to express themselves in anyway they saw fit without any uptight attitudes. Written with a style that only Selena can do, this story was absolutely fantastic and a must read if your looking for hot.

The author leaves a note at the beginning that states that English isn't his first language but I for one couldn't find fault with the way he wrote this piece. Very romantic, you're actually left in the dark in the beginning as to what her ideas might be. I very much enjoyed the whole premise with the way it was done romatically. The only thing I would change would be the use of * in his work as a way to show emotion in his writing. A very nice piece.

Pay For Services Rendered
Thecelt

I have never been much into Loving Wives stories before but I've enjoyed thecelts work and decided to read this piece. It was an eye opener, a genuine story that actually could have been ripped from the headlines. I wish the ending had been happier but all in all this one is well worth the time it takes to read. I gave it a five.

Thanks for the review! :)

I took a long pause in writing/publishing, but I should be able to publish a bit more from now on.

Mr. Illusion

P.S. I'll *try* to use less "*"s... ;-)

This is a new author who just started posting stories last month. And while this was under First Time it could very well have gone into the Masturbation/toy category. It's a very nice story, sweet and touching, actually about a boy and an older woman who helped him with his first experience touching a woman. I'd recommend it since technically it was well written and able to grab you emotionally. Only a Lit page read, and well worth the time if you enjoy reading this category.

Thanks Daniellekitten, its always nice to be noticed.

Skin Chapter 5
evelyn carrol
Rating: I want to read the rest of this series now!!! It takes place in Greece, in all it's glory and it combines NonCon, BDSM, mythology, first time, etc etc... and dammit, it's just plain evil fun. The satyr, Mikos, is just marvelous, and exactly as I'd expect a semi-divine being- utterly calm, controlled and matter of fact.. he is definitely master of the castle. The only problem with the story that I had was the clocking of the poor boy's ejjaculation... it made me feel sorry for the cop sittign there with his little radar gun, clicking it off and saying "60 kph... that'll be a 50 pound fine for excessive ejaculation in a no-jism zone!" (But then again... I have one complaint out of the whole story... I'd say that's me being trivial.)

Scooby Sex Chap. 2
Up34
Rating: Okay, so I wasn't thrilled about the writing, but this was an amusing story.. and completely impossible, LOL! But it sounds like something the Scoobies would get themselves into... the basic plot - shaggy and Velma feel underendowed next to their freakish counterparts, so put some mad science to work to up the ante. Very amusing, and cute, in a twisted Frankenstein way.

On Beauty
hoededoe12
Rating: The title caught my eye, so I read it... I wasn't disappointed, so to speak, as it's a good storyline, and it has a little edge of reluctance that is nice, but I really thought it would be better than it turned out to be. But, admittedly, this isn't a category I read often, and I may be missing something. I'd say it's a solid stroke story.

Closing Time
SpicySweet
Rating: An interesting take on rape. Interesting, and at least a little off-course for most, but then again, I've known some very strange folk in my time, so I won't say it's impossible. Although no one comes out and says "Hell's Angels!" the bikers are pretty obvious. It's well written, and entertaining. A solid stroke story, if you can suspend belief and just enjoy it. It has one PC from a troll, calling the author sick... well, sick and twisted is kind of the point in this cat. I enjoyed it quite a lot.

That's what I've read today.

It wasn't my day, but I was awake and saw my How To was up and I started reading the other How To's I've only read the entries that were listed this morning which were angelicminx, sophia jane, My Erotic Tale, cheetah83, oggbashan, DG Hear, Munachi.

I look forward to reading the others. I recommend all of these. Each one was unique and different. I truly enjoyed them all, some more than I thought I would. :D

I do appreciate you reading my 'How To' and the wonderul comment you made on it. It really made me feel good. I was trying to convey some humor mixed with a lot of truth. I mentioned to LadyCibelle (one of my editors) that I believe people would like it if I could just get them to read it. I don't care about winning contest but it is nice to read a comment such as yours.
With the highest regards and Thanks.

Couple of quick reviews from todays new stuff.

Hey, how do you put the URL's in for them?

Taking Kate
by Kajirah
NonConsent/Reluctance
Rating: Pretty good arouser from a first time author on Lit. Short and sweet, it’s about a chubby lady who finds herself the at-first-unwilling recipient of the attentions of a rather sexy man who know what he (and putatively she) wants. In a way, you can guess the rest but it’s so nicely written that I postponed any thoughts of self abuse in order to read to the end. The author gives us a pleasantly teasing cliffhanger at the end. My principle for reviews is ‘at least one bit of praise + at least one (preferably constructive) criticism’. Here comes the latter.
Like most beginners, this author doesn’t know that appellatives need a comma in front of them (yes, Sir). I used to make the same mistake until someone kindly pointed it out. Personally, I don’t like hyphenating compound nouns much (‘auto-pilot’ in this case). Otherwise, although more about Kate’s feelings than possessed of a rattling good plot, very well written and readable. Well done! A marginal 5. Why can’t I vote 4.75, as I so often want to?

How to Survive in a Foreign Country
by Aurora Black
How To
Rating: I couldn’t make out whether this was meant to be serious advice – like ‘don’t forget your passport ’an stuff’ – or tongue in cheek humour. As a matter of fact, a very similar article has been up on the internet for long enough for it to be posted on toilet walls in pubs all around Britain. In the case of the latter article, it’s hilarious, but the humour isn’t at all intentional. It contains advice like ‘say “please” when you ask for something’. We think it’s very funny that anyone needs to be told. Anyway, what Ms Black misses is critical stuff like ‘do try hard not to kill too many women and children with cruise missiles (especially when there is a TV crew nearby),’ or ‘remember the phrase “greatest country in the world” may not win universal approbation in parts of Latin America.’
Conclusions: 1. Highly recommended if you’re an American without a passport (whether you’ve been abducted by aliens or not). 2. It needs a bit more humour if you live (like me) in a US colony. On that basis, I decline to vote on this one.
Here are my tips specifically for visitors to Britain.
1. ‘My pussy’s queer,’ means that the cat’s got a dose of the distemper. Don’t get your hopes up.
2. When getting on a train, always make sure to shake hands with everyone in the carriage. (In London, always spit on your palm first. Do not do this in the North, especially on Mondays.)
3. Don’t forget to try out the famous echo in the reading rooms of our bigger libraries.
3. In Britain, brothels always have a blue lamp outside.
4. The polite way to address a police officer is ‘Oi you, Fuckface.’
5. If you fancy a woman, she will always respond well to ‘I know what you need and I’m the (wo)man to give it to you.’
6. If you pass wind in public, invite everyone nearby to ‘sniff it all up and don’t waste any,’ possibly rounding the invitation off with a winning ‘an empty house is better than an unwelcome guest.’

Perhaps I should just give up doing reviews!!!!

No! Don't stop because of that! I have sent you a PM. :) I hope it helps. It is easy just remember no spaces in the brackets. . . :D PM me if you need some help. :rose: Thanks for reviewing. :D

I'm wondering if this is a review or a rant. As for the "similarity" between my How To and other articles on the web, mine is the genuine article (no pun intended) and was written 100% by me. Maybe you should give up doing reviews if you can't do it without personal bias.

I think you missed it.

Okay, I know that your first language is not English, so I can overlook the errors in grammar and choice of words. However, I don't get how he knew that she was cheating. That and why returning to his cheating wife should be a condition of his revenge. Doesn't make sense. Just my opinion. The sex was rather short too. It was too rounded out and simplistic. Still, a nice premise of trying to save their marriages by getting even. Just not handled how I could picture most handling it. But I'll credit you for a fascinating story, particularly the notes.

And I've mentioned you on the AH." Gave it a 75 out of 100, primarily for the "notes" idea, which appealed to me. That and the idea of him having some fun of his own. Morally debatable, but this is a sex story. I leave the morality out of my reviews to a large extent these days.

He supected she was cheating becuase her "socks" as Winterfrog puts it, I assume he means stockings were on the wrong feet when she came home from work. The letters he sent her, that you noted was his way of checking if she was cheating. If she had ignored them he would have forgotten the whole incedent. But she reacted to them and that was what told him she was cheating. I hate to say this in a public forum like this, but you do not accept private messages. You really must read the details in a story if your going to review it.

Yes, he sent an e-mail explaining that. I did overlook. Probably the whole "haste makes waste" deal. Read it too fast.

First two reviews coming up in a sec here.

First review:

How To Survive In A Foreign Country by Aurora Black

http://english.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=256797

Category: How To

Review: A very practical and even humorous essay/guide on how to make it overseas. I found everything in it useful and to the point. Despite the fact that it covered some serious issues (like the risk of date rape), it managed to overall keep a sense of wit and humor about the general advice that it gave on most topics. I highly recommend it.

2nd review:

How To Appreciate A Man by Selena Kittyn

http://english.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=256799

Category: How To

Review: A good example of someone applying the Golden Rule (something that most religions and philosophies rightly hold in common) to dealings with the opposite sex. A great deal of empathy, humor, satire, and expression of gratitude to the man in her life. Even an honest sense of regret about the past. Most of all, embracing the reality that everyone wants to feel appreciated, not taken for granted. Including men. I was very impressed with this essay and recommend for all bi or straight women involved with men (and gay or bi men involved with men, for that matter). Some seriously great advice to her fellow women, overall.

That was probably the most intelligent statement you made in your entire post.
This is why I'll never review here. God help the soul that doesn't like something written by an AH author (any AH author, I'm not singling anyone out).

Final review for today:

The Saxon Ch. 1 by Wulfgar

http://english.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=256097

Category: Group Sex

Review: This one caught my attention and held it for the whole story. It was a fascinating, bloody, gory, and sexy tale of Saxon warriors fighting the Franks and fucking their captive women. And there was even a moral at the end, when one of the main characters whines about not having land. The other protagonist points that they have had it worse, that things are improving since their side won, and that he should enjoy what he has. I'd really recommend this tale and I plan on reading the sequels.
