I was very disappointed when I listened to it the first time. And I`m still disappointed! Maybe my expectations was too high. I mean, after OK Computer and the Bends. Well there are other albums now that´s much better. Lots of Swedish bands. Anyone who likes KENT for instance?
oh goodness....RH fans just make me weak. and for the most part...you don't seem to be OKers...so..;
I bought Kid A. I really liked "Everything is in the right place" (warp drives me mad with happiness)...National anthem etc.
I wasn't too pleased overall. True, that it's a growth and the obvious next step from OKC...but it's such a waste. Johnny Greenewood...did anyone see them on SNL? what the hell was he doing? pulling plugs? and Colin's not even on bass! and Ed does NOTHING...
Radiohead, in my opinion, are a really truly good ROCK band. Anyone who plays guitar knows how truly intricate all of their guitar work is...things like Paranoid Android off OK Computer were written like Sonatas or something. it's absolutely wonderful to see and hear the collective work of their creative selves...
I'm glad we're going to get a proper album in the spring, because I miss the radiohead I knew and loved. I guess for me...The Bends was my favourite....then OK...it used to be Pablo...but i finallu got into it about 2 months ago. go figure.
