New OOC 'Rebuild'

Deacon and Daniel want a piece of each other now I see what fun! My moneys on the big man though. Cramer could be told what Peter tried with Norah, he has wanted to knock Pete on his ass for awhile now.

Wow, Daniel sure does look like he is alone on this one. Deacon has earned more support in a day or two than Daniel has in what, a week? Now you can see his frustration.

Remember though, he is extremely angry with everyone, for ignoring him and for "falsely accusing" him, as he thinks everyone is doing. Anyways, he is seriously considering leaving. So if you guys want him to stay, I would advise to hurry up him meeting this person he is gonna talk to.

Would it help if Cassie and him talked?

(PS. I'm the idiot that wrote the fight scene ...my bad ... sorry)

Sure, I guess that would make sense. Maybe she went to talk to him to sort things out, and they got into another fight, and things cleared up.

PS it's fine. The fight sure is making things interesting

I should be posting the last scene for day 6 today which I think catches me up to your time line. If I am wrong I can do a quick post along lines of building defenses etc nothing much happens, so should be ready for a call if that is what is going to happen.

Peter tried nothing with Norah, he just held her tight when she wanted to flee because of what Lee did to her in the sickbay. (posts 390 and 391)

Wonderful!

Darn maybe he'll just piss Cramer off and accidentally take an elbow in the face ;) Yay the big man did it to Petey already Cramer doesn't have to.

Concerning the plot line for the next few play days:

1 Friday evening Will the team find some of the ill have died from Lee's experiments? Has Lee survived? (By the way, are there 'lurkers' who want to join and take Lee (or an other character) if he survives?

2 What do the Knights on Saturday? Discuss relocation? Decide on a few places to explore? Discuss why Ria, Cramer and Deacon didn't get Napoleon? Will somebody boldly use the phone to find out if some of the places they discuss are inhabited? Start packing? Should the internet and be going down the hill rapidly now?

3 Scouting and or negotiations on sunday and monday? Some adventures (and scavenging) on the way? Who of the Knights meet Troy? (Ria and a companion will scout the hotel she and Derry have been dreaming about).

4 Relocation, when? Will it go smoothly, or will they encounter trouble?

Long term:

5 Cramer's produce still needs to be harvested ...

6 How long will the electricity work? The water?

Please number your ideas and add the day, that will make it easier to follow the discussion I think.

1 I think we should drag Lee's ass through his dark stage, I don't particularly like the character, but we do need him.

2 Saturday would be perfect for the management team to meet (hint hint) I think the internet should be going down as power starts to shut down. Along with the internet we could perhaps start encounter loss of communications as well.

3 Deacon will most likely lock himself inside his "workshop" and only allow Derry near him. She might want to go with Ria to scout for the relocation spot? I dunno up to Isca really

4 After meeting the other group and determining that there is enough space, I think that we could pack up most stuff and move, but there is quite a lot of things, so with the second trip we could run into some serious trouble... you know, just to keep with the nice zombie apocalypse theme

5 I think this should be done ASAP, perhaps just after the move?

6 Judging from the time that things are not being looked after anymore, reservoirs will by now start going bad (I don't even know if they use reservoirs in the US like here in SA heh!) pumps starts to fail due to loss of electricity. We might even want to stay away from nuclear power plants as they might decide to go critical and THAT is the true problem with zombies, nuclear power plants :) but yeah that is my ideas on that

So far only DK has posted to my questions, and if no other will, I think we should set the main plot lines for the next actions as following:

1) Lee will survive.

2) The meeting has been on friday, the decision made, now saturday will be: phone contact with the winery, planning and packing, R&R.

3) Sunday: Scouts visit the winery, maybe they bring a little gift, meet with Troy, have a look at the place. A small team might want to visit a shop? A drugstore? Something special? They also need a school bus for the relocation, and maybe the bus needs to re-enforced?

4) Relocation: A lot of trips will be needed and some will be smooth, some will be so so la la, others disastrous.

5) As soon as the relocation is complete Cramer's produce will be harvested.

6) Internet breaking down rapidly, power will keep a little while, water too, but something else will break down completely very soon.

Okay I can't answer about a lot of those questions as they concern the Knights, what I can answer though is about 3 and 6.

3) With regards to contact we are willing to take the group in of course and we have plenty of space to spare. However there will probably be some friction. We have a good command structure. Troy is a natural combat leader, Mrs Brady has taken to leading in the stocks department and Maddy is back up and running the day to day household. They will not appreciate anyone coming in and trying to force them out. If they work with them it will be all good as I think Ria will. But I do not see Peter relinquishing any power he has.

5)I agree the produce should be farmed as quickly as possible and put into our cold rooms.

6)The winery is self sufficient with power and water needs. A large artisan water supply below supplies the water through pumps, and a solar farm and wind turbines supply the electricity. They also have a stockpile of gas to run the stoves. However if rationing is needed certain areas can be cut off.

Cramer won't be an issue he's done business with the family, and he'll fall right into a established system. There water and power supply he's familiar with from his organic farm, a jack of all trades and will help keep everything running everyone safe. Give him a field to plow and you'll have plenty of produce. He won't keep quite about anyone trying to take over the Vineyard.

So basically no need to bring along the solar things that Deacon salvaged then. Hey Wolfie, sounds like Deacon will be learning to farm pretty soon.

On a side-note: If Peter gets frictional can Deacon lubricate him a little? -grin-

Great! I see some jerks wanting into the Winery in the future ...

The solar panels Deacon salvaged will have to be transported to the Winery. What if one of theirs breaks down? What if some jerks in the future damage the solar farm on the pigsty? The pigsty is quite a distance from the main buildings ...

On the same account the Knights indoor garden and the Koi ponds will be relocated too.

*grins* All frictions will be lubricated by everyone who sees the need to do so!

Wombat, I think the winery people and the Knights will find together pretty soon. Leadership can be shared by a bigger committee.

Professor Grimes Horticulture 101 classes begin at the Grime's Organic Farm don't be late or you shovel manure.

if everyone is ready ... i can close for the night at the library.

In the morning a scouting team will headed to the winery.

peter is with cassandra ...

peter will be pretty scared of deacon ... he'll make his

"I have no hard feelings … I went a bit crazy when I was sick. And I’m not surprise more of you have not punched me in the face.” statement.

if you need more ... he'll say something about "might does not make right ..."

but i think he probably just accept deacon's apology ... and the slate clean

You know me I will run with the crowd. I've posted to open the thought that the street or at least some will want to move.

Keep some space there for me.......

Everyone that wants to go on the scouting trip ... the time is now. Meet up with crazy cassie on the ground floor!

Well, count Daniel out. He won't forgive Deacon so easily. And also, I want for the Napoleon virus to still be in his system, for some reason it wasn't fully gotten rid of, and it is slowly making a comeback. If that's alright with you guys, of course. If not, just have him be angry with Deacon.

Winery

If nobody phones the Winery you guys are going to have it rough coming in the main gate even in An APC. Sure they have a run flat system but you have to know how to use it and it only works for 1 or 2 punctures not the 100 or so you will get coming that way. You need to be told to come an alternative route Cramer will know about.
