New Milestones Thread

400 followers as of today. I first published 12/8/22, and hit 300 on 12/7/23.
Things are accelerating. 😳
I keep an eye on the most followed author lists (7 days, 30 days, & All-time). For the last 30 days you are #56 most followed 🔥🔥🔥!

Side note: I’ve never listened to one of SnakeySmut’s audio stories, but based on her profile pic, I can see why she recently blew past me on the all-time list like I was standing still lol…

I did not know that. I was on a writing spree recently. It happens when I’m bored.

One of my 750 word stories just passed 100 votes in two days! Nothing I have ever done garnered anywhere near 100 votes in four years, good or bad. Granted, in following the count every so often my edu-guess is ~10% are one-bombs from 750-word haters or haters in general, but that much activity and some very nice comments are wonderfully gratifying. Some days it pays to get out of bed and log on.

:)

I have sent my third story, and it is the first to not be barely above the minimum word count, and the first where I try to develop a character beyond a cardboard trope. Writing can actually be pretty fun.
It gets better as you get better.

I'm not sure if having my first story shredded at the hands of the LW trolls counts as a milestone, but that particular cherry has been popped.

'Takes a drag from an imaginary cigarette.'
It was good for me.

I remember that we had little time to enjoy Haley's Comet! Such a fight!
I have a Battle of Hastings number of followers. Took nearly 5 years.

ps: for the historically challenged, the Battle of Hastings was fought in 1066.

With today's posting of "Congolese Shafts," I attained 500 published entries in this account name (350 separate stories). 1,268 followers.
Combine that with your previous sr71plt pen name production on Lit, makes you like one of the top five most prolific storytellers ever on Literotica. Even Laurel & Manu should stand up and clap. Congrats!

Thanks. A mostly inactive sr71plt (at 1,029 entries) has dropped to number six on the all-time production list (https://www.literotica.com/a/) and KeithD will never make the top-ten list (although I'd like to see who's on the top twenty list). Actually, Laurel is very nice about it--after having called me a troll years ago.

My milestone is I've managed to write every single day so far this year.

I've always wanted to write but kept procrastinating. I posted my very first story here last summer, and the second one shortly after. Took me six months to finish another one.

So far this year I've published three, on top of having completed around 25% of the first draft of my first novel.

I've reached 300 followers!

I hoped to reach it about a year ago, as I was on 270 about 15 months back, but the flood of 50+ new followers I acquired from an incest story mostly ran away after seeing my usual fare (lots of queer and kinky overtones if not totally explicitly so), so the next half dozen stories lost as many as I gained.

Actually 301 - and I'm surprisingly touched to be the only author followed and faved by a couple new accounts. My recent story Accredited Sadist seems to have been more popular than I expected - a SM rather than dom/sub BDSM piece.
