New Milestones Thread

I have managed to break off my addiction to checking and spreadsheeting my stats over the last six months or so, but I did a quick perusal this morning to see that Dungeons and Dicks 3 got a hundred or so clicks in the last day or so to become the 15th posting of mine here to go over 100,000 views!

I also noticed something interesting. While the overwhelming majority of my catalog is Erotic Coupling, six of my 15 100k+ stories are Group Sex… Kinky bastards...

My first edit.

After the second story in my "Adam in public" series got rejected for breaking the age limit (unfairly IMHO) I realised that the first, although it had been passed, was potentially in contravention of the rules. So, I edited out any ambiguity, taking the opportunity to combine two parts into one, improve a scene for which I had received some constructive feedback, and adopt a naming convention that I think will help people find the stories more easily.

Now I have the long wait ….

In the meantime, the (edited) second story is ready to go, and the third well on the way to completion. Even better, the fourth is almost ready too, and I have outlines of several more stories in the series. Not sure if I will finish all of them or switch to work on another series in the 61verse.

After nearly a year of not getting much written, it feels good to be making progress again.

Submitted two stories in one day.

The third episode of 'Adam in Public' and my first one-off, for Nude Day contest.

Today is the 100th day since my first story went up. It was the first piece of fiction I had written since some short stories for a girlfriend fifty some years ago. I wrote the one in February to see if I could, if I had the courage to put it out for others to read. Then I had to prove to myself I could write more than one, And then see if I could broaden my range, try new categories.

A hundred days later, I have written and finished 32 stories, whit my 30th being scheduled to appear tomorrow. Two others my spouse and I decided were too personal to post. Almost 400K words across 8 categories, with another half dozen WIP including another 4 categories.

I think I have found my voice now and mostly what I want to say with it. My next challenge is to refine my writing. I have been trying to find things to read that I really like here (as well as elsewhere). Writings that feel like something I could write if I were only better, trying to learn from what they do.

For all the comments about some awful writing on Lit, and there is, there are also some authors doing wonderful work here. In the last week it has been @StillStunned, @SimonDoom, @ElectricBlue, @MelissaBaby, @Bramblethorn. I am sure I will discover more of you as well. Thank you for your contributions.

^^^ A quarter of that. Just over 250 since September of '24, so around 8-9 months.

Showing 244, but 5 or 6 have added on in the last day that aren't reflected n the total yet.

That's very much appreciated. You've put me in with some exceptional company.
