New Milestones Thread

The Loaner Husband broke 900 votes recently (too impatient to wait for the 1K mark)
and holding above 4.5. To me that's a WOW.
It also has over 61,000 views. Or 67 votes per thousand views.
Which, aside from being impressive for my work, it was posted only 10 months ago.
There are great works here with 45 votes and 4.5+ that
have been up for five years. 1) Amazed 2) grateful that my story
made so many happy enough to vote.

The sequel, Loaner Husband II, came out 10 October and rides at 4.77
with 144 votes, 8.8 views. Or 61 votes per thousand views. Other than Shakespeare, the Part II
frequently isn't as good as Part I.

OTOH the next highest is Erotic Exotic Central America at 4.7 with only 2.7k views.
It was dropped in February. I'm pretty sure it's the title. Not real compelling.
Cheers all. 7F5y.gif

Well, that remarkably silly threesome thing I scribbled, the one that somehow hits on 13 of LesbianChickLit's Top Twelve Signs Your Lesbian Erotica Was Written by a Dude, has been doing very well.

Unbelievably well, to the point that it's been hanging around on the 30-day EC toplist for most of the past 30 days. And has a decent showing on the 12-month list. So, since I'll likely never submit anything this successful again, I'm claiming this as a Milestone.

I now have over 450 followers, which is another satisfying number.

For reference, this thread tells me I had 400 in February 2025, 350 in July 2024, and 300 in February 2024. I posted more last year, though.

A couple stories have 98 or 99 votes, so it would be nice if they could get a round century.

Over night my clickership/readership ticked over 1,000,000 clickers/readers.

I started writing nearly 8 years ago publishing on a couple of fetish websites and still to this day each story has only had ~500-1000 readers.

To publish into the erotica world with my wavering tenses and sentences runs has been a baptism of fire, even the great Statnash (or whatever their name is) telling me to stop writing as I cant write, hasn't stopped me.

But to have got my stories clicked on over 1,000,000 times is a result.

I just wish I had a dollar for every click :p

Thanks to Laurel and Manu for hosting this site.

Picked up about 30 followers in the 4 days since Gift published. Pretty happy. I know it’s small potatoes compared to the authors I follow, but you gotta start somewhere.
That first 100 feels so amazing, though 😍

That's a hundred strangers that enjoyed your work so much they wanted to remember you as a writer and looked forward to reading more from you, and not just as a one-off disposable product!

This happened last week. It's the first time I've had that rating on a 12-month top list. I've had a couple 30-days with that rating. Obviously, on this one there were just barely enough votes to qualify, and the rating has since been met with reality. But it was a nice moment, while it lasted.

Those vote totals are really low. Did something happen in that category? I remember it as having more of a readership than that.

I beat my last year self.

Last year I wrote a grand total of 245646 words. This year isn't even over, and so far I've pushed 375817 words. To clarify, all I wanted is to make it 250K, not push it to a 50% extra from that.

Just this week alone I wrote 18600 words. I'm... No, no, no, I'm not going to tag him, but yes, I'm still stunned that I can output this amount, and yet I seem to not want to do it. This year was quite a rut for me, and yet I still beat my last year self.
