New Milestones Thread

[MyBareTorso]

I just posted story # 100! The 2024 750 Word Project got me there a lot quicker than I thought! I honestly did not think I'd be around here for that long, but Literotica has really got its hooks into me, and has turned out to be quite the addiction. I'm hoping to ease back on my usage now a bit, but I'm fearing that might be more difficult than it seems. Thanks to anyone who's ever read one of my stories, or one of my comments on the AH.

This evening, following the posting of my 27th story, I got my 500th follower. Not too bad for less than 18 months writing, IMHO.

[TheLobster]

So I know that writing I/T is playing the game on easy mode etc. etc. but heck, I hit 200 followers and 100k views across all (three) of my stories so I'm gonna be proud of it, thank you very much

And well you should. Because even being in I/T won't save a poorly written story.

So, gotta ask, if I/T is easy mode... what's Beast Mode?

For getting views and followers? Probably Reviews & Essays.

And Letters and Transcripts.

[orangecurious]

the first story in my Developing Friends series has crept up to just over 19k views... slow but steady

And Letters and Transcripts.

I think that in that category I'd describe it as "Least mode" not "Beast mode."

[orangecurious]

just hit 12k views (hey, let me have some glory!) for this one Nice Camera which I wrote as a bit of a joke idea, that then gathered steam. It's also had 2 new comments on it today, so something up with iy.

My newest story The Sweet Berry Chapter 1 has taken off at a much faster pace than I thought.

Published today it is already at 2.5K views in interracial love and tracking with a 4.57 off 47 voted and 11 favorites. That is almost as many favorites as my last story has recieved in 6 weeks.

Given I am having an otherwise crappy couple of days this is a nice pick-me-up.

Yeah, if there is a beast mode category, it has to be LW.

[Candy_Kane54]

Maybe a negative milestone but I just established the biggest gap between submissions at 144 days ...

[samhasstories]

I just realized 2024 is already my most productive Lit year, with five stories posted and counting. A blistering pace for me - generally about one a month, plus a twofer when I did my 750-word one.

I guess I'm feelin it this year...

[orangecurious]

well well, this one Blame it on the tea has managed to crawl to 20,000 views and only upset a few people along the way

[orangecurious]

ooof, the very first story i published here has now reached 86,000 views (ok, it took a while)

Suburban Sweetheart was the start of it.. i ended that series earlier in the year as I was still intrigued what would happen to them and it's now got a spin off!

[oneagainst]

Tell Me What You Want finishes up today. Seems to have got a few people thinking, from the comments. Good to have gotten it out largely intact...!

always bittersweet when a series ends. Finished two of mine this year, (but one has spawned a spin-off) both times I held off pressing 'submit' for a day or two

[MillieDynamite]

Let us hope your spinoff has more staying power than the two series that spun off, Murder, She Wrote. Um, yeah, Harry Mcsomething and, oh, the one with the reformed(?) jewel thief.

not sure i have the staying power!
I wanted to close the story, but it went from 2006 to the present, so there was scope to write about adventures along the way.

A Fool Not to Fuck just became my second story to reach the 100k milestone - exactly one month after it was published.

It's second in the "most read for the past 30 days", and it's my second story in the "most read for the past 12 months".

On the concluding chapter of the story Tell Me What You Want Ch. 08 - the femdom love triangle crystallises but Anon, ever fickle, can't make up their mind how it makes them feel:

Simply one of the best stories ever red.

I enjoyed it a lot more when he was being treated like a slave. Hector watching helplessly as his comfortable relationship with Bea slowly faded away into a slave master relationship was actually quite hot. This soft Femdom leading to relationship betrayal with hector’s wife is pretty disappointing.

Good to have finished. Good to have (probably) stuck the landing...?

[dmallord]

Only a milestone if you have the sense of humor of a fifteen year old boy, but my 69th story published today.

--Ride it Like You Stole it, a story of love and support between siblings, and a lot of other people...

I read that! And you can have that sense of humor at 86 years old, too. Long ago, I smirked every day someone asked how old I was when I was sixty-nine and thought '69' as a mental afterthought!

Congratulations are due 69er.

[dmallord]

Probably the wrong thread for this. But, I'm stuck at 97 followers for the past five or six days.

You worried about five or six days? Hang in there! I've been looking for just one more for months to get to a rounded number.

[theWollstonecraftWoman]

At 98 now. I don't figure I'll get more until I publish something here again.
