New Milestones Thread

This is a new one - being scolded for deviating from the path of comfort

I understand that you, as an author, are forced to develop creatively, create something new... But could you return to the genre of cozy, intimate, romantic stories for the last time? Where there are only two souls between whom love SLOWLY arises. Two souls who are attracted to each other, but they are not yet able to understand why. Two souls, where each has its own experiences and thoughts.

It just so happened that lately you have been devoting very little time to these feelings, the birth of love, mental anguish caused by an inexplicable attraction to another girl. This is your right as an author. But it would be great if you returned to the times of "Alexis", "Navigation" and the first 3-4 pages of "Jetsam" for the last time, before going to conquer new heights of stories.

Thank you.

I didn’t win in any of the 3 categories I was nominated in for 22’ Peoples Choice, but I got a bunch of votes against some amazing competition in all three. Proud of the nominations and thankful to all who voted. Congrats to all the winners. Here’s to 23’!

Being nominated 3 times is pretty amazing in itself. That gets a:

I guess winning a Reader's Choice award is pretty big. I still can't believe something I wrote was good enough to get there. Imposter syndrome, I guess.
The stories I was up against were awfully damn good. (Sally Fields Oscar flashback...)
Also, that same story just hit 150K views. I don't have a point of reference, but to me, that's a lot of eyeballs...

It feels weird to say how proud I am to be the last person on a list, but today I reached #280 on Literotica's all time 280 most followed author list...and I'm positively ecstatic! This has been a goal of mine for the past few years and it feels so rewarding to finally reach it.

As you probably know, the floor for this list keeps going up as 25 years of amazing authors have graced this site with their work. Strangely, I can safely say I will be the last author to reach it with less than 2,500 followers, as the floor will undoubtedly continue to rise. And not to take anything away from the 279 authors in front of me, but to get to this level in only 5+ years without ever having published in Lit's moneymaking categories of I/T or LW makes it especially rewarding.

Okay, that's my last brag until I surpass Silkstockingslover's 48k+ followers in the year 2123 :ROFLMAO:! Time to get back to work before NoTalentHack, EmilyMiller, and the rest of the up and comers come push me off my own brag list...

Congrats and thinks for indexing that list. I'd forgotten about it. My original account (sr71plt) is #208. My current one, active for over ten years now, hasn't made the list.

Congratulations and thank you for [undeservedly] including me in very good company 😊.

My calendar year sales, December 2022 - November 2023, hit 600 on Thursday last month. It is not great, but that's only Smashwords; it doesn't count the sources through them nor the ones for Amazon or BookApy. It's my biggest year since my first year there, 2013, when I self-published my work.

That is a very sweet message and probably evidence you should be charging money (if you aren't already). That sounds like someone who wants to kickstart something for you.
