New Maryland Thread

Newbie

I am new to Lit and reside in the Northeast section of Md. As to age, I am a senior citizen although don't feel so.

I have been trying to find out how many old farts may be members of this forum whether they live in Md. or not. The search continues.:D

Yep, busy busy busy now that the holidays are here. And, weekend traffic sucks now that the shopping surge is on.

As for a car, check out the Dodge Caliber... Not only is it a cool little car, but gets great gas mileage, too! However, you probably won't find many used ones yet. I love mine!

Yes the Caliber is a very cool car, I was amazed to read that it would replace the Neon, It gets about the same mileage as my R/T it wouldn't be as peppy as the R/T but for around 8 grand less than a G6 it's not bad, you can option it up 21 to 24000 though.

Well I made it to one Littogether and never found the group. I was guilty of bailing on the two Friday ones but I knew that might be an issue. Just hard to work all day long then come home, change, get ready, and jump the train, ya know. But I am still interested. Seems a few years back the NE section of the country had a couple of successful one. However, they were set way in advance, a meeting place at a hotel was established, and people went from there out to eat, party, have fun, etc. Never made it as I was not in the area but heard great things.

EEWW a dodge I will pass! Anyways now my car is back and they broke my rim so I have to go to a junkyard for a rim. Anyone want to take me so I dont get treated like the typical woman who doesnt know anything. :-D

This would be so much easier if I had a BETTER car LOL

Paid 19 for mine... still came away with power locks/windows, alarm, sunroof, 6-disc changer, and sirius satellite radio (plus i have my own xm receiver). I'm getting 27mpg commuting from Baltimore to DC 5 nights a week. Not bad compared to the 15 that I was getting in my 1500 Quad Cab.

hey, now

Yes my '04 R/T does 30-32 mpg running between Glen Burnie and Upper Marlboro, mostly city. I can run with about any thing I want to maybe not beat but stay up with. When I hit the back roads to have some fun I can do at least twice the posted speed. I might not have the best fit and finish but it runs good and gets good mileage to boot.
Hi watergirl nice to meet up, just a glen burnie guy looking to meet some local people.

Sweet! a new MD thread (dont mean to interrupt the Dodge party) but just wanted to say hello, how is everyone?

Hey folks. 27/m in Frederick, MD here. I'd be down to meet anytime. Let's do this thing.

mornin, all

Morning, folks - Oh, it looks cold out there, but I'm gonna venture to the gym for my swimming time. I love having an entire 2nd day off right now, and I'm storing up slacking off for my coming crazy week at work.

Just wanted to say hi to all, from a rather infrequent visitor (to Lit, not Maryland -- I live in Bethesda, and work in DC).

30 year old male (single). New to Lit and just checking in and bumping the thread for us Marylanders. I'm in the Lexington Park area, which is far south on the western tip of the bay.

Hi there, I just wanted to say hello to everyone. This is my frist time to the board and I am excited to see so many people in the area!! I am a 27/m in DC here. Glad to join!
