Good afternoon everyone!! Hope you're all enjoying this fabulous Friday afternoon! Was pretty darn cool this morning but it's warmed up nicely.

Looks like it'll be back into the mid 80s this weekend which is perfect weather for one last BBQ cookout our friends are having to end the summer so to speak. I'm just hoping my wife didn't pack away all of her summer clothes yet unmmmm would love to see her in one of her sexy sundresses one last time before it goes into hibernation

Not from Jersey, but im gonna be in Spring Lake? Monday through friday for work training. Need some ideas on what to do while im there. The Company threw out a few ideas but id rather get ideas from locals if possible, even if I have to drive a bit for it.

Asbury Park is right around the corner…. Literally.

There are some good music clubs there if you like live music. Stone Pony, House if Independents, Wonder Bar and Asbury Lanes (which used to be shit tons better). There’s also a big gay scene in Asbury park if that’s your thing.

Other cool stuff is the old convention center and boardwalk. There’s bars and distilleries and breweries.

Further south is Brielle and Point Pleasant. Lots of nice restaurants.

And north of that is Sandy hook and that area. It has a nude beach but it’s pretty damn cold! (My wife were last there in late September and had a great time.) There’s cool historical stuff like the lighthouse and old forts there too.

My wife and I always go to Bahrs Landing in Atlantic Highlands for overpriced but good seafood.

Go check Asbury Park, NJ. Good restaurants and shops. There’s also a brewery that has a restaurant. If you aim for the Stone Pony nightclub, there’s a cool little strip of boardwalk with a vintage arcade, and some other shops. There’s the rest of the boardwalk.

There should be plenty of events so, look them up. The stone pony nightclub may have some bands playing.

To reach downtown where all the restaurants are, simply do a search for restaurants in Asbury Park and you’ll see a whole string of them. That’s where all your shops are concentrated as well. Have fun.
