My wife who grew up in the Philippines has touched a shovel only once and that was close to a decade ago and only because I was away on a business trip
she hated it ....... shoveling the snow, not me being away

You and I both know the snow we got was ummm literally nothing but anyone not accustomed to snow, feels it's horrible!!I was chatting with the cashier in the liquor store yesterday… she said she and her husband were from the Caribbean and they were not happy with the forecast.
I'll take what we got this weekend any day, all day. Could always be a lot worse not for nothing!

I've been watching the Jets vs New England game and they're getting the snow we got overnight. Looks much worse for them than what little we got! Still for them I'm sure it's still " not that bad " !

Good afternoon NJ folks!!!! I just checked my weather app and it's close to 50 degrees haaaaa!! In the middle of January!?!?
Was at the car wash earlier and the guy besides me was vacuuming his interior wearing just shorts and a T-shirt. I told him, I was way over dressed wearing the sweats and hoodie.
We both laughed at the weather but was not at all complaining one bit!! Enjoy your weekend everyone and if you haven taken down those outdoor decos yet then today is the best day to get it done finally!!

Hope everyone had an outstanding weekend and are enjoying their MLK Day off?!?!
Looks like a nice, sunny day albeit a cold one ........ right before the winter storm rolls in this evening and into tomorrow!! My kids are expecting for school to be cancelled and I was like " whaaaaat ........ it'll only be 1 to 3 inches at most " and they said that should be enough
Guess they'll be having a 4 day weekend?!?! Enjoy everyone!

My eldest son had a 2 hour delayed opening and the younger one who I drive like 20 minutes to his school was cancelled yay!!
Not sure why they decided so late since they knew it was going to be mess since what unmmmm Friday so cancel it and hour and a half before the actual time of opening geeezz???
Well we're just gonna chill all day here and no I have no plans on shoveling. I'll leave that to my eldest son.

Hi all Hope everyone is warm with this snow. Im in toms river its raining now.
Could be worse. Did you see what Buffalo went through over the weekend ?Have I said I hate this weather? It’s just gloomy, slushy, drizzly, and dirty snow. Blah!
