Immediate tip: add a link to your stories in your signature. That will make it easier for people to find your works.

Longer term tip: never take anyone's word as gospel here. We're all a bunch of amateurs doing this for a hobby. Sift through the tips and opinions and decide for yourself what works and what doesn't.

Don't panic too much about it. I deliberately turned off seeing signatures years ago, because they cluttered up my feed. I got tired of seeing all the bright flashing lights and the same old, same old covers. My page is much tidier without them.
