New category suggestion

I've been to a lot of erotic story sites and this one is definitely among the best, but there's one category all the others seem to have that this one doesn't.....an impregnation category!! Getting a girl pregnant and having babies is so incredibly sexy and erotic. I think there should be a category for these stories added. Just a suggestion, I want to hear your thoughts on it.

Many stories, in almost every category, have impregnation as an element of the action. I'm not sure authors would like this aspect to define the story. Personally, I would be disappointed to have a loving wives story reclassified because impregnation was part of the story.

If you would like to write and post an impregnation story, "Erotic Couplings" would be a good choice.

With the search capabilities here on Lit., the need for additional categories unnecessary. Try search terms such as "pregnancy" and "impregnation" and see what you get.

I agree with the author of this post. I'd love to see a category like that. I think the readers and authors (at least the few I've spoken with) would love an area where impregnation DOES define the story. I mean afterall isn't that the point of it? At least if it's a story about pregnancy it should be.

I would KILL for this catogory, perhaps you should write to the webmasters about it, i would be willing to back you up on it if you are serious about trying to get an impregnation catogory here.
Yes these stories exhist, but i think a spearate catogory for them wouldnt go astray.

Unregistered mentioned impregnation as defining the story. I can picture it in the context of a variety of settings and scenarios. I just can't see it as defining the story. A little help here would be appreciated.

Read my stories if you want to know what an impregnation story is.
Many people find stories where the woman gets pregnant errotic, including myself and my girlfriend.
They can be in any catogory, but making a separate catogory gives the writer the oportunity to submitt their impregnation story in the impregnation section where people like myself and peachychick601 can find them easier.
The main thing about an impregnation story is that the girl becomes pregnant. Dah lol. It doesnt have to be where the girl knows it is going to happen, but the fact that the resault of the sex was a pregnancy must be make a point of, unlike most stories where you just assume the woman is on the pill.

just a comment, really... many daddy/daughter tales seem to include this impregnation element. The last taboo - incest - is perhaps made spicier by daddy plowing and fertilising the only forbidden field.

Impregnation can be integratged into so many exisiting categories.

Seems a little strange for an author that claims reading one of his stories would define a whole category.

I support this idea 100& I'd love to see an impregnation category. I think they are the best and hottest stories. Just curious Axeltheswede, when you were searching for these stories by key words did you merely try impregnation or did you also try pregnancy and pregnant because I personally use one of those in my key words instead of impregnation. Most of the stories I've written so far deal with that subject. For me it's a key part of the story, but doesn't define the story solely. I've read stories though where that is the defining subject and those are the ones that I think are so great. I'm in favor of having a category for them definitely.

I like Laurel's broadly drawn categories. It allows posting authors to define the scope and direction various categories take. The search feature allows readers to create their own favorite categories with themes they enjoy. Authors wishing to write for a specific audience need only to code their stories with the appropriate key words.

Key word PREGNANT because almost NO BODY puts impregnation in the key word field when they write a story where the female gets pregnant, they always put PREGNANT or BABY.

What does my lesbian stories have to do with anything? The first was written by request because no one else would write this story for the person, and the second was written by popular demand after the success of the first.

I punch up your story list using the search feature. You have two incest stories and two lesbian stories listed among the offering that is supposed to define "impregnation".

You want a new category? Make your case. Assemble your arguments and see if you can get others on board. Then present if to Laurel.

I didnt put impregnantion cause it seems that no one does, and i didnt put pregnancy because there is no pregnancy until the end of the story.

Guys!! Guys!!! Chill out please. I'm sorry if my reply to this post caused such a problem. I personally have read Ilovewriting's works and they are very good, at least the ones I've read. I've done some searches myself and if you type in pregnancy you get several different stories. If you type in pregnant you get even more. I think the point of this original topic was not that it's possible to find these subjects, but that they're more easily accesible. That's why it would be nice to have their own category. I've been to other story sites that have a pregnancy category and it along with the incest category are always the most popular.

If you want to know what defines and impregnation story you'd have to ask everyone because I'm sure there are hundreds of different definitions. To me it's when the main character is already pregnant during the story or when someone sets out to get her pregnant. I'm not talking about a planned pregnancy solely, but one where the girl doesn't know he's going to get her pregnant.

Some people may not think it's necessary to have a "how to" category or an "anal" category, but yet we do. How hard would it be to just search for anal and see what comes up. Heck if we're gonna do that then let's not categorize at all and just do searches. The point I'm making is yes anyone looking for something on pregnancy can do a simple search but having its own category offers convenience and simplicity. There are already tons of stories that could fit into it and I believe enough interest is there to generate even more.

Just because you think they're a disaster doesn't mean you can speak for everyone. There are many people who favor these stories. I agree with KinkyKiki as well because I too have done some research on other sites that already have this category and that one along with Incest are the post popular categories they have.

Sometimes I wonder if people have lost the point of erotica, let alone this site's stories. The real world is a very scarey place with the afore-mentioned STDs, fanatics turning airliners into cruise missles and the disappearances of children from the presumed safety of their beds. There's nothing wrong with a bit of fantasy as long as the thoughts that generate them do not become actions that harm others nor become obsessive to the degree where nothing else entertains us. If not for the freedom and privacy allowed us inside our own heads we'd live a very stale and bland reality each day.
