$ 598.00 round trip. Brother is working there for Chrysler so I am taking advantage of it. Going to visit the Normandy beaches and some stuff around Paris. I wasn't too excited at first (not looking forward to and 8 hour flight) but I am starting to get excited now.

Normandy...wow that would be mind boggling
I believe that would be incredibly awesome....the debt we owe the lost generation is immeasurable...say a few prayers for me when you get there and salute the great ones for me.
Im heading behind the Iron curtain in December...sheer curiousity..same reason..flights are cheap...Im going to see Thrace..haha..Romania and Moldova---long live Spartacus !! I am Spartacus....no I am Spartacus !

Oh and Amber I can start an IV with that coffee if you like....I wouldn't shoot more that a tenth of a milliliter though...caffeine is a mutagen and may cause tumors if not digested first.....but hey that would be a rush wouldnt it......I think that would make ole Juan Valdez fly up the mountain with his ass in tow....Coffee Bean Madness

Yes it is, Really can't afford it right now but I couldn't pass it up. He has been there for a year so he knows his way around, speaks french, and I have a free place to stay (Bonus).
Knowing him he has a few french cuties lined as well

Visiting the U.S. Cemetary there is first on the list. My brother tells me it is the most awe inspiring, heart wrenching sight he has ever seen. Just a sea of white crosses and the grounds are kept immaculate.

Im hoping to get by in Bucharest ..haha
My German is broken at best...but I am going to use that with taxis and the like...they charge Americans too much money when they know you dont speak the tounge..haha...and usually we are stupid enough to pay..haha...
A place to crash saves a bundle..I have friends that will be in Moldova for the holidays..I am hoping to weasle in a coulple of nights there and save some money. It is still way cheaper than here...you can get an apartment for $50 a day and live like a king..meals are like $1 ...$5 if you want the Ritz....but I am looking forward to the culture shock !
