Excuse me I meant Paris

I'm good now that you are here :)

I wanna go to paris!

$ 598.00 round trip. Brother is working there for Chrysler so I am taking advantage of it. Going to visit the Normandy beaches and some stuff around Paris. I wasn't too excited at first (not looking forward to and 8 hour flight) but I am starting to get excited now.

She licked me........

*grin*

Did someone say Paris????????????????

*comes out from under her skirt where she was licking*

Paris????:?????

Normandy...wow that would be mind boggling

I believe that would be incredibly awesome....the debt we owe the lost generation is immeasurable...say a few prayers for me when you get there and salute the great ones for me.

Im heading behind the Iron curtain in December...sheer curiousity..same reason..flights are cheap...Im going to see Thrace..haha..Romania and Moldova---long live Spartacus !! I am Spartacus....no I am Spartacus !

I have the Cranberries blaring right now..I think I should marry Delores Rhirodan...too bad I am not a drummer

"theres a war in Russia and Sarijavo too ..cause Im free to decide.....Im free to decide...."

Blarney

Oh and Amber I can start an IV with that coffee if you like....I wouldn't shoot more that a tenth of a milliliter though...caffeine is a mutagen and may cause tumors if not digested first.....but hey that would be a rush wouldnt it......I think that would make ole Juan Valdez fly up the mountain with his ass in tow....Coffee Bean Madness

MFS that rocks what an opportunity :)

Yes it is, Really can't afford it right now but I couldn't pass it up. He has been there for a year so he knows his way around, speaks french, and I have a free place to stay (Bonus).

Knowing him he has a few french cuties lined as well :D :D

Blarney I agree with what you said about Normandy.....would be an amazing trip.

Course I would also have to swing by Disney Paris, but that's just me.;)

Visiting the U.S. Cemetary there is first on the list. My brother tells me it is the most awe inspiring, heart wrenching sight he has ever seen. Just a sea of white crosses and the grounds are kept immaculate.

Im hoping to get by in Bucharest ..haha

My German is broken at best...but I am going to use that with taxis and the like...they charge Americans too much money when they know you dont speak the tounge..haha...and usually we are stupid enough to pay..haha...

A place to crash saves a bundle..I have friends that will be in Moldova for the holidays..I am hoping to weasle in a coulple of nights there and save some money. It is still way cheaper than here...you can get an apartment for $50 a day and live like a king..meals are like $1 ...$5 if you want the Ritz....but I am looking forward to the culture shock !

Red Im with you...I wonder what the French Space Mountain is like..hahaha

I can think of a few places to go. Amsterdam is the most beautiful place on earth. So it depends on your interests.

For instance you can go to a museum, walk along the canals (or go with a canalboat, even better), wouldnt miss the red light district ofcourse.

So tell me what you like and i can tell you where to go and how to get there.

Close to the Airport would be good. Have to check my ticket to see what time I am getting in. Will get back with you when I know the time. Thank You !!!!

You can get anywhere in no time from the airport. It will be my pleasure to advice you about Amsterdam.

Toast...raise the glass

This comes from a poem written about WWI ...yet its
appropriate..it was later made into a song

....and as I sit and I stare at the youth who has died
...I see you were called Pvt. William McBride....

The Green Fields of France...

Oh how do you do Pvt. William McBride
Do you mind if I sit here down by your graveside
And rest for a while 'neath the warm summers sun
I've been walking all day and Im nearly done

I see by your gravestone
You were only 19
when you joined the dead heroes
In 1915
I hope you died quick
I hope you died clean
Or William McBride, was it slow and obscene?

Did they beat the drum slowly
Did they sound the fife lowly
Did the rifles fire over ye
As they lowered you down
Did the Bugles sing the last post in chorus
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

Did you leave you a wife
Or a sweetheart behind
In some faithful heart
Is your memory entwined

Or are you a stranger
Without even a name
Enshrined forever behind a glass frame
In an old photograph, torn, tattered, and stained
And fading to yellow, in a bound leather frame

Did they beat the drum slowly
Did they sound the fife lowly
Did the rifles fire over ye
As they lowered you down
Did the Bugles sing the last post in chorus
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

The sun gently shines on these Green Fields of France
The birds softly chirp and the red poppies dance
There's no gas, no barbed wire
There's no guns firing now
But here in this graveyard
It's still no man's land
The countless white crosses in mute witness stand
To mans blind indifference to his fellow man
To a whole generation, that was butchered and damned

Did they beat the drum slowly
Did they sound the fife lowly
Did the rifles fire over ye
As they lowered you down
Did the Bugles sing the last post in chorus
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

Did you stand proud and tall
When you answered the call
Did you really believe that "THis war would end wars!"
Ah William McBride, it all happened again
And again, and again, and again, and again

Did they beat the drum slowly
Did they sound the fife lowly
Did the rifles fire over ye
As they lowered you down
Did the Bugles sing the last post in chorus
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

Mwahhhhhhh Have a great day all

GE

Hey GE, you have always been nice to me whenever I "jumped in". How are things going for you ???? Much better now I hope.
