I liked the first trailer too...
"We have an ARMY!
"Oh? We have a Hulk!"
"I have an army".
Loki would never think of himself as part of a team.
I dunno. This Loki doesn't seem to be much on the holier than thou trip. Hell if not for a last minute reveal I would have said that Loki was all around a better person than Thor and we only cheered for thor because it was his goddamn movie. Also because the women want to sleep with him.
Thor wasn't plotting murder & treason to take the throne of Asgard.
Thor wasn't plotting murder & treason to take the throne of Asgard.
Thor was reigniting a war that nearly ended the world. When his father sent him to earth his petty friends immediately start scheming to breach the peace treaty by bringing him back early. For most of the movie Loki is pretty much taking the logical approach to everything its only at the end that they reveal that he was plotting murder and treason. Frankly in a country so fucked up that my immediate underlings are plotting behind my back to overthrow me before I do anything remotely evil it's easy for me to sympathize with the guy. Still all of that was in act three. If you didn't know Loki was the bad guy because he's Loki the movie is basically about a spoiled brat who nearly brought on the Armageddon spending the entire movie trying to breach a treaty and bring on Armageddon.
Edit: And Loki didn't really do a lot of scheming to take the throne. Sure he kinda egged him on but Thor didn't need a whole lot of convincing to break into the Ice Giants territory. Even if you'd taken Loki out of the situation he likely would have gone sooner or later.
Jeremy Renner is getting almost no screen time in the trailers. Is it because his character is lesser known or what?
Thor only went because Loki snuck ice giants into Asgard.
I hate that shitty sound effects crap that every movies these days uses...
Looks boring... but then again, I never liked comic books.
Still we didn't know that until near the end of the movie. And Thor still went entirely too easily had the Ice Giants gotten in via their own means Thor still would have ran off like a hot head. His actions are deemed by his own father to be sufficiently stupid to banish him to Earth and take away his favorite toy.
I don't read comics but I like the movies so I only know what the movies tell me. Anyway, I'm wondering how come the Hulk seems to be more lucid than in previous movies.
Ok, I can see that. The Hulk goes through various phases of intelligence as Dr. Banner tries to control or remove the Hulk.
