New Addition

I've banned myself from pet shops. There'd be no room for people here! Besides, the waifs find me - my last kitty acquisition climbed over the front fence one night as a very small kitten and stayed, despite the labrador trying to lick her to death, the fox terrier (our previous waif find) wanting to play and the Burmese hating her.

Give me some time, my house will soon begin looking like Abs'.

The boyfriend and I went to Petsmart this afternoon on a whim because I wanted to look at cats. This is always a mistake because we're both the kind of people that immediately fall in love with pets and want to bring them home and when you have both people that are like that, there's no one there to tell you no. We saw these two kittens that were labled as "skittish and scared" and we felt bad. We went to his parents house to borrow $80 but his mother said no. So we went to another pet store that's family owned that I'm always getting crickets from. There was only one kitten left in the cage there and when I told the woman that we were kitten looking she told me that we picked the wrong season to look for a kitten because there was no variety and we were "stuck with the one in the cage over there". We looked at the cat and felt bad for it because the woman who worked there didn't even like it. It's black with beige spotting and a bright orange spot on her nose. The markings look like she always has dust on her face. We felt bad, I fell in love with the cat and when I walked away, she meowed until I went back over and started to pet her again. So we got the cat. :cathappy:

Her name is Devin and pictures will come sometime tomorrow when I did the webcam out.

Western, English, kids, cowboys- he doesn't care. My three year old rides him.

I'm sending his roller dee snaffle, hackamore, brushes, blanket, any feed I have at the time of sale, plus extra to switch him over, two halters, lead, all bathing supplies, lunge line, hay net... etc, etc, etc.

He's my baby. I don't want to get rid of him, but I can't afford his board :(

if you tell me he's a bay, my heart's already lost.

(my very, very first horse was a bay Arabian - a mare)

Bright bay with two rear socks and a snip on his left fore.
Beautiful mover with great lines, and yes, he can be registered. I have all the info to do it, just haven't had the money.

Ari,

That cat's got class. Reminds me of a half-Siamese we once housed and fed. Half its jaw had white fur, the other half dark. No big deal, except it's tongue was half pink and half black, matching the patter on the jaw.

She was a very distinctive cat.

Rumple Foreskin

*pets the kitty*

Thank you! I think so too and she's so freaking cute! She slept with me again last night, I had my arms up over my head and she snuggled right into my armpit and when the boyfriend woke up she got up and followed him right downstairs. She follows us everywhere and it's too cute. We're still trying to figure out exactly what kind of cat she is and right now we're thinking American shorthair mixed with Calico of some sort but we're still pretty clueless.
