I think the big battle at the end with the 3 superheroes was the only good part of the movie. As was stated above, it was a set up for Justice League (which looks good, based on ComiCon trailer).

There were a couple times I stopped and rewound to see what I missed. (I mentioned I was playing CivRev at the same time). Only to discover, nope, didn't miss anything. Just horrible editing/storytelling. The Flash time warp sequence really confused me. I actually paused the damn movie to look that one up. WTF?! I'm also not a fan of time warp story lines. Especially in TV shows. Damn revisionist writing. And for the record, Dr. Who doesn't count as time warp story line. They just use the time machine as a mechanism to have a story plopped in the middle of anywhere. Genius!

(I should say, I'm not a comic books kid. I enjoy the super hero genre for film & tv, but never got into comic books. I know, blasphemy. Minus 100 house points).

Multitype ability so it can be any type in the game depending on which plate it holds.

Mine always will be StarWars. The storyline is amazing, villians look incredible, the force is amazing and the fight to overthrow a Dictatorship.

I absolutely hated BvS. DC making Ben Affleck an executive producer is a good move, as he can hopefully make sure the story telling is decent. Snyder does make some decent action scenes, but all the bits inbetween are fucking rubbish.

Actually he has hinted at writing the next script himself. And being very close to the camera too. :/

That said it could be worse, Argo was brilliant. Snyder is overrated, many who can do good action scenes, all while driving a much better plot (Hellboy II had both). If I truly want to be amazed by action scenes, rather than by a guy who wants to crush anything and wipe his butt at everything just because he can, then I will go for Bayhem. Sucks as much as Snyder but at least he knows how to use the full screen estate of any theater.

Here's hoping they will leave Miller's Batman alone for the next few movies, next few arcs even. Milked to death, everybody knows by now that Batman *does* kill.

I tried to read the Lestat series but I didn't get into interview with the Vampire enough to complete that series.

TV: Supernatural, until they killed off a character. X-File, until Mulder left. And Trek, always Trek.

And anything Marvel- I my comics and MCU

One thing I did like? The Fellowship. Jackson's portrayal of Middle Earth fit my mind's eye.
Another? The score. The music is exquisite. So much low brass. It just fills me up.

The individual character performances? Who doesn't love Sean Bean?

BUT, I cannot forgive Jackson for Faramir. He raped him!

Love Marvel more realistic than DC to me.

I loathe Bay but I would rather go to the movies for Bay action scenes than for Snyder action scenes. Bay may actually manage to have me say 'WHOA' (first Transformers? Dinobots?).

Snyder will only crush what is actually supposed to be 'untouchable. Just because he can and if he can get away with it he will make it a detail even.

I don't know why people always assume comic book movies should be about action - stories made comic books great, not action. The best parts of Superman aren't him kicking ass because he's so ridiculously overpowered - they're about how the people around him humanise him, and how what he does affects both him and his friends.

I grew up with Batman (on TV), while my dad took a turn towards Spelling TV series, I got lost in Stephen King and then discovered DC Comics. I devour anything which is a 'true mindfuck'.

Marvel is my entertainment (Aaron's run on Wolverine and few select other arcs being the exception)... when I don't want to think. The DC rogue gallery and conflicted main minds are my food.

When at the end of a story arc you can make me want to punch the Joker in the face you've won.
